The amount of matches where you check at the end and maybe 2 or 3 people have any engineering points is depressing.

Lol you can have engineer on squad other than engineer squad, so this statement doesn’t make sense.

The amount of matches where I literally fly ONE plane for the whole match is also kind of depressing. Even if you do not shoot down the airplane, just the awareness that someone might be fighting back makes pilots fly a bit differently.

And, if they start suicide bombing you, then congrats, you just got free 350 score (you can literally tag them with a rifle for the kill reward) AND removed a pest AND possibly drained enemy tickets/left them without a plane doing something more useful

I don’t know what you are trying to say here. You literally said you can use the rifle to get the free kill from suicide plane, then what is the point of the engineer squad?

On an engineering squad you can comfortably have 4 engineers. Half the squads people run, you often have to have 1 engineer and 1 AT gunner. Your 1 engineer often dies to random crap, before you can even build the rally.
The rifle comment was about people crying about people suicide bombing their AA emplacement. You are literally being force fed score and xp. And you know how you get better at AA? By using it. You know what else you can do? Tell your engineer squad to hide in a nearby building, so you don’t get squad wiped by one suicide run. Congrats, now you can enjoy being force fed XP by several people.
