yeah if you ask me the fg is just a slightly better rifle. other high level players should not have a problem countering them. but i do think this italian fellow asked for matchmaking not fg/stg nerf
feels like the only reason i keep playing is because i want max level. i dont even enjoy half the campaigns, i just need that high number man

the main problem i can find in his post is “getting killed immediately after spawn” that is caused by bad map design not anything else, while the rest are just needless additional information

After 10 steps from spawn you dont have spawn protection i say then after the step are massacred by superior firepower, because low level players have met high level people, I complain about matchmaking stop posting nothing I don’t complain about guns I don’t care I complain about “insistent matchmaking”

Oh please you’re better off with m3a1 as an smg since the grease gun is actually controllable and will do more damage, might not be much but still more when full starred 8.0 for carbine, and 8.2 for all guns firing .45 acp
It’s so hard to understand what’s here about matchmaking, and not just Americans and Germans?
It will happen where you get a match that you cannot push, especially if your team doesn’t know how to hard counter certain items on the enemy team.
Does the game need a MM proper? Yes.
That being said, from the time I started playing, Normandy was HELL on Axis.
Jumbo’s sat outside in the grey, and Pounded the Axis. And even when they pushed up, it was hard to take them out. Flanking only works when you have infantry supporting you.
I streamed 8 games I think last night. And the first one in Normandy as the Axis, we were brick walled by the allies. They tore us apart because only a few ppl on our team knew what to do, and they had our numbers marked no matter what?
You know what I do? I don’t take one game as a metric. I move on.
especially when the team loses their will and gets killed just to finish the game
The lack of matchmaking plays in two directions…
First battle your team have highs lvls,enemy low lvls.
Second battle your team have low lvls,enemy highs lvls.
How its suck.
there’s something “immortal cover” such house and trenches but well the map was beach and there’s nothing to cover themself, so bad map design
if it was axis who play as attacker, the problem remain the same since it’s not about firepower but position Advantage thus bad map design

some map are good like omer, le bre, ruin of vaux, literally anything beside versurmer 1st & 2nd capture or d-day because on these, defender has altitude advantage (or the opposite if attacker build rally on top of hill after few first capture point)
I agree, and I’ve been guilty of it too. For example, starting a battle on Airfield and then suddenly I’m up against 2000+ Tickets and down to 3 control points. Why bother? DC and move on I guess.
I try not to now. I’ll farm the XP and Stream it so everyone can see.

I took the weapons to highlight the disparity in level not because I care about them but because you are killed by them = high level players, I don’t complain about the maps, I find them ok they have their problems but all in all they work, you have perfectly right when you have to separate the players but making sure that 1 or 2 high level players are on both teams to balance the challenge
→ beach are literally open field
→ defender has altitude advatage means everything are visible
this explain a lot,
this kind of thing doesnt happen in flat map like le bre or omer
