Pity is a must since they are selling silver for gold. They are scamming both paying, freemium or f2p players. 30 rolls (150k) should have guaranteed weapon and 60 rolls for guaranteed squad/vehicle (300k).

Tbh, this feels extreme unlucky.
I really donāt know how much I did spend on those boxes last time. But it definitely wasnāt much more than 2 mils.
And I got pretty much all stuff I was missing (both silenced squads, new Zealand MG squad, PPK squad, US fuel bomb plane squad, Ā±8 various vehicles, several weapons)
The only stuff I am missing now is literally just Japanese fuel bomb plane squad (I have premium, so I really donāt care) and Fliegerfaust (But I hope we eventually going to get version without the camo, cuz I really donāt like it).
I donāt know who would buy this. I mean, itās such an extremely bad value for money spend.
how many squad were you missing at the time tho? i miss only 1 so maybe that why and i understand it tbh
but still at least if it give me 10 cool pistol i wouldnt be salty much (i got 1 i think could be wrong since i forgot)

I got several handguns, I was especially happy with Luger.

This gambling is only for the players who literally sit on the silver. If youāre new to the game (or still exploring the tech tree) just DONāT do it, not worth!
In my case I got almost all that I had missed in the previous edition.
But then at some point, when I got twice in a row the reindeer decal as a main prize for a 20 box roll each(200 k of silver) I was about to throw the pc out the window!
In this edition I spent like 900 thousand of silver. Got like 250 k of silver back in boxes and about 150 k from the played games with xp bonuses. These gained silver I also disposed of in the boxes. So totaly for about 1300 k of silver I got 2 missing squads ( m1 US marine paratroopers and soviet AA truck), 10 pistols, mp 41, katana, US sabre, nkvd knife and luftfaust.
In both editions for several millions I failed to hit even a single Stinger nor the italian and soviet swords I guess.
EDIT: Green orders should be sellable for silver, especially callsigns. It would be some form of compensation for this overpriced gambling imho.

Charleston squad is always good imo used it all the time in Tunisia before merge

They never do. Good companies listen to their customers, Dark Force? Not so much from what I can see. Weāre just peeing in the wind with our feedback, and DF isnāt even providing a rain coat or a towel for us to wipe it off with. 
I can honestly say I wonāt give any of my silver coins to the useless mystery box. If I had all my factions maxed with nothing to spend silver on, then yeah, If I got nothing else to use if for. But as long as I can use it to build a squad then wasting it on some lame decoration isnāt worth the silver or the time it took to click the spend button for the mystery box.

I disagree with that. They sometimes do listen and make quick changes if needed. For an eample the horrible 3 infantry squads minimum system that didnt let f2p players to take apc and tank at the same time was removed the same day it was added after the negative feedback. Also when one of the major updates made stalingrad greyzone houses unable to be removed in the editor the devs fixed it really fast.
They have shown that they are able to listen to our feedback if they want but for some reason they decided to ignore it all for the silver boxes.

Just to circle back aroundā¦since I had 350k silver sitting around, I figured Iād try a few - mostly for the extra research, not really expecting much by way of getting a squad (despite needing a TON of squads from events).
TL;DR
So, I changed my mind - I will roll some on this go round, but like others have said, I intend to use āhouse moneyā on these - eg. not paying gold for the silver.
So, I rolled about 5 times the first go, and was shocked to get a vehicle (another version of that German, BR2 wheeled armored gun carrier thing). But even more surprising was that I one of the rolls gave me 9K in silver back. I was pretty shocked by that. I also picked up a few XP bonuses, so, overall, I wasnāt too upset with the rolls.
I continued to roll for research XP - and b/c my random games have basically been ALL Japan, mostly in Burma, but also my BR2 almost always playing against BR3, I decided to stop doing random games and work on some trees I needed.
So, seriously, I was shocked to basically get a research coupon on almost every other roll - at one point, I got 4 out of 5 gave me a 50% or better (but usually the 50%).
Now, 5k silver for 50% research aināt greatā¦but, (as my they used to say down South in the US) - it sure beats a stick in the eye.
So, I do think this round, theyāve made the expenditure better. knock on wood - I used to get SOOO many of the āchange your soldiers lookā tokens (whatever those are called) and Iām just not advanced enough to even care about thoseā¦so found them particularly galling when I got them.
Getting XP tokens arenāt nearly so bad - mostly b/c I still have 3 trees to complete!
Overall, Iād say Iāve rolled ~20 times, got a soldier, a vehicle, and probably 8 XP coupons, 20-25k back in silver, and the rest was junk. (A couple bad portraits, and other soldier adjusting/gear leveling coupons). Iāve probably net spent about 25k in Silver, after the ārollā refunded some silver or, in other words, the rolls only cost me about 2500 silver instead of 5000.
