I teamed up with some cool guys and invited eachother for another few tries.

We made a few runs but 24 was the furthest we got as far as I remember.
All of us - decent players, teamwork was well planned and we still got torn to pieces.
To think that the only thing I cared about in this event was a chance of a silver chest, which most of the time actually drops some worthless shit like xp boosts… for so much effort…

You have to spare your ammo, just like in a postapocalyptic last stand. By my standards, the event is a strong 7/10. Great dark and scary vibe, perfectly fit for Halloween.
Man, stop being this negative. First, this is a Halloween event, and being an event, it does not have to be historical. Second, the prize weapons that will stay with you after the event look very much historical (much better than the ostentatious red in the earlier event) - each of them has a national touch. The Russian guns with a rough camo and a roughly carved “Za rodinu!” (“For the Motherland!”), the Japanese gun with little sakuras, the American Hyde decorated with buffalos and cowboys - aren’t they nice?
Personally, for me, it is a strong 7/10. Of course it looks low-effort - just a few new assets on Berlin map - but it instantly gave me a vibe. Besides, it’s inspired by an existing gamemode from CoD: Zombies apparently. Unlocking new zones combined with limited ammo and powerful melee is not bad at all.

I only got past level 12 three times all day. My high was 29 though. Alot of fun if you have good teammates!

The zombie event was awesome, the one before that with demons was alright it wasn’t horrible. However this event is just trash, it’s way to hard. At least the last event gave us the abilities of healing/building. It’s not quite as raging as the “gun game” was but this is definitely the worst event.

The samurai zombies are way too op if lmgs didn’t cost 7,000 all the other guns don’t do hardly any damage against them.

Events like this are straight up betrayal of game’s WW2 theme integrity. Because nothing screams “WW2” like Halloween cringe and zombies, right?
Games are my escape from real-world nonsense. Yet here we are, force-fed cringe “spooky fluff” likely everywhere else.
There’s no escape.
I would so much rather prefer to be able just play some WW2 event during this time period. Why? Because that’s the fkn reason I want to play WW2 themed game.
If I wanted to play fkn zombies, I’d play X other games that are focused on that.
And just like always, they put more effort into this event than to actual WW2 events.
Brilliant priorities. No wonder this game is stagnating at best.
Plus I just reacted to their obvious bait to push people to play this nonsense. By giving out free silver boxes for playing this nonsense. Which they have never done with WW2 events.
I won’t play this event. I had enough of Halloween nonsense. It’s everywhere. So I bought all the rewards with gold. And yet I am going to miss out on free boxes. I apparently don’t deserve them cuz I want to play only WW2 game modes in WW2 themed game.
I feel like they’re straight up disrespecting me. That’s why I am so frustrated :))))).

This Halloween event was a complete failure. In fact, unless you can play with three friends who can communicate via voice chat, you’ll never even reach wave 20. I suggest lowering the difficulty of this mode, including giving each class unique equipment or abilities, such as engineers being able to build ammo boxes, medics being able to heal teammates, and unlimited purchases of each weapon on the display board, etc.

More than that, I wouldn’t be surprised if they deliberately make it so grindy to get people to pay to skip the whole pass.
Plenty have already, probably enough for this event to be worth it. As long as people do that and pay into the event passes, there’s no reason for them to change. No amount of backlash (other than something to impact their bottom line, like review bombing) will stop it.
Not only this but active matter + war thunder having infantry added making enlisted appear increasingly obsolete is not inspiring confidence. I do not blame people for doom posting

Instead of getting silver chests from some Stirland State troop simulator, I’d prefer getting silver from normal game mode and save them till chest appears in shop one day. Efficiency matters.
