No, they shouldn’t be nerfed. They should be class restricted in a historical way:
M2 Carbine - it is an assault rifle, so should be locked for assaulters,
FG 42 (both campaigns and both variants) - it is a paratrooper specific gun, so why not make paratrooper squads and lock FG 42 to those squads? I’ve proposed it already: Some suggestions to balance the Invasion of Normandy.
AVS-36 and AVT-40 - now these were meant to be standard issue infantry rifles, so the solution requires some mental gymnastics - both of those guns weren’t exactly mass produced, so here probably the only option is to limit the amount of those rifles per squad to one, maybe two for a trooper squad.

Keep your delusions over balance when you clearly did play more on axis side with all the better gear you so carefully state over and over comparing to soviet side but yet, you show us a 30% win rate with 4000 more kills than on soviet side.
The only thing that matter is not the weapon. It’s player base!
If you have 100 player:
30 play axis
70 play allied.
The ratio reflect the attractivity of each faction minus a factor due to present meta.
After few days it will become:
20 axis 80allied
And the attractivity become 80% for allied.
Put a Tiger, it will go down to 60%.
Nerf the FG42 it will go up to 65%.
At the end if the player base is 100 or 100 000 the attractivity will affect the number of bots and pro player in each campaign. Not the weapon. At the end if you don’t want to wait for a game or play with bot you don’t care about balance you care about attractivity.
Who care balance in an assymetrical game. I care about fucking bots and general lvl of player.

The goal is to have a playerbase of 50% to be balanced in a gameplay perspective.
The x in the attractivity, it depend on weapon op/cheat, number of bots, good experience, win rate.
To low, and the player base will drop. To high and the player base drop too because of the bots.
The meta is the point where the nerf/up should be made before it drop on the right side.
Germany Berlin is on the left side, with lesd than 30% of attractivity.
So don’t fucking nerf it!

I’ve stop to go to different campaign because I though Berlin allied and Normandy Axis are over on the right of the Meta point… winning everytime is boring.

In my opinion It just takes time to find a balance.
The Tiger increase the attractivity to force the player base to go up, “fighting against the curve.”
This is purely my experience but Between 3pm and 9pm GMT time, the quality of AXIS PLAYER is very high This time. Conversely, the quality of ALLIES decreases. This is the first game I’ve seen like this. It’s an amazing experience to see the win rate of a team change over time.
