The GRAND tank poll

I still hope they are still developing GAZ trucks and German cars are just a placeholder

Design of the Panzer I began in 1932 and mass production began in 1934. Intended only as a training tank to introduce the concept of armored warfare to the German Army, the Panzer I saw combat in Spain during the Spanish Civil War, in Poland, France, the Soviet Union and North Africa during the Second World War,

wiki, not primary source but should be credible enough for this.

Than add Pz-1

Two MG-13’s and make it spawn more often than regular tanks

Same for the t-38 (but DT-29 must be buffed then because it’s awful rn)

Nah. Make it purely optional as unlock as a low-profile, more mobile infantry support weapon. I don’t want another stock grind for something usable

It does get the niche benefit of being amphibious

I just want bigger maps where tanks can play a supporting role, max 2-3 tanks at a time. The Jagdpanzer IV would be nice to see, same with the ISU-152.

I made a post about the ISU a long time ago during the closed alpha

Here: Suggestions for the future campaigns: SU-152 and it's brother, the ISU-152

Is confirmed for Normandy.
Did not exist during Moscow as it was designed in '42

Yeah, I would like to see this beast in maps like Berlin, maybe Kursk (because I don’t know what role the infantry played, it was more of a tank battle), any other Eastern Front battle from 1944 to May 1945.

True.

To be honest, it don’t care yet what tanks we want to see. I just hope that the developers fix the most important issues first. (controlls are still cluncky as f*K!) But I do hope we get in the future this gritty, cold, huge winter maps set in 1944-45 where we can get battles like a Tiger tank vs T-34-85, ISU tank destroyers.

I’m also talking about the maps being very tight. Not having a traverse would be a death sentence, and even at best they would still be one-trick-ponies.

Or we can just add more snow and space to moscow map
Lack of snow, fog and snowstorm is the biggest issue in Moscow. Even Normandy on Summer has more fog in Enlisted

Normandy is also full of swampland which is naturally foggy.

More focus on the fields in Moscow wouldn’t hurt though.

I meant like winter fog which covers a much larger area than swamp fog

The fuck is winter fog?
I don’t think Moscow in the winter is warm enough for fog.

Do you live in Africa?
The weather in cold winter conditions is almost never bright
I don’t know the word for it in English

It doesn’t exist in Wisconsin, even along the lake.

Like I said, fog needs warm weather, and if Wisconsin is too cold for it so is Moscow.

Fog is simply when clouds form at zero altitude above ground level. This is more likely to happen at times of high pressure in winter as wind speeds are so low that the fog cannot clear. The broad answer to your question is that on a clear winter’s night the ground cools substantially,…

This is what I found on Internet

I really didn’t know how the weather functions for you guys in the west but here in Europe, I remember cold winters are mostly foggy especially from 5:00-10:00 O’clock

Also to add that snowstorm can decrease the view range much more than fog can

Now, can we get back on topic. This is about tanks

I would still like to see what the norm is for Moscow, whether it’s considered steppe or taiga it’s going to be a much different climate that western europe regardless.

Oh boy that opens a can of worms that I don’t think the wehraboos would like

Nevermind that shit like the KV would be bombed constantly as my playtime in the T-28 shows.

Really most of the breakdowns would be happening before the battle so it doesn’t make sense to include it as a feature in-battle.

If heavy tanks are ever added, and I don’t think they should be, it would be better to add a loose repair timer to them so you can’t use them every battle.
