The experience for Germany and the USSR at BR 3 and BR 5 is inverted

Applying the “BR 3 mindset” to Rank 5 battles reveals some striking parallels:

· The King Tiger feels like a KV-1E with a completely impenetrable hull—a fortress that dictates the flow of engagement.
· The T-34-85 acts like a highly mobile Pz. IV with a long 75mm gun. However, this advantage is nullified in close-quarters maps like Berlin, where its thin armor can be penetrated virtually anywhere.
· The T-44-100 is essentially a Pz. IV turret on a Panther’s chassis. While its hull is well-protected, its turret face remains a consistent weak spot, preventing it from being an overpowering vehicle.

I’m sharing this to highlight that the T-44-100 isn’t the unstoppable menace some make it out to be.

In the maps of Enlisted, its mobility has been significantly nerfed, forcing it to behave more like a heavy tank—often having to stop to fire, just like a static pillbox. There’s little left to boast about in its maneuverability. What’s more, its suspension handling imposes a major debuff, often forcing it to shoot second in an engagement.

I’m tired of seeing players instantly turn red with rage at the mere mention of its name. The Soviet faction is genuinely in need of a competent top-tier medium tank, and the T-44-100 in its current state is far from being the overperforming monster they imagine it to be.

AVT40(20) is much better than the FG42 II wdym

The 800+ RoF makes it eat through magazines like crazy

Also Soviets get to have body armor which is crazy strong and have a great TT AR while Germans have Scotti as a BP weapon

Oh wait a second there’s a solution for those players who get frustated and cant win with soviets on br 5:

If all of those nerds who keep complaining learn to use engginiers and cooperate minimaly as germans do this story would not exist…

Historical AVT-40 ROF was something like 700 rounds per minute. Is that too strong?

I mentioned this hundreds of thousands of times and Even our dead comrade parrot Said it:

The day soviets mains learn to cooperate and use their tools they Will realize that Germany wasnt that Big opponent at they said

Funnily enough, on the very day (or at least close enough) the parrot published is topic, the german started getting crushed like 90% of matches… it was a very poorly timed post…

Also regarding the topic : Soviet BR5 is certainly not weak, far from it : RD-44, Fedorov Avtomat, AVT… great combination of weapons. Tanks and planes are slightly worse, sure, but they don’t win game. On the other hand German BR5 is well balanced, but most soviet mains larp in BR3 (I mean, why wouldn’t they ?).

the only thing “inverted between the factions” at those two BRs, is the Dominant Heavy tank, which still isnt a perfect inversion because at BR 5 USSR still has Heavy tanks, while Axis does not at BR 3 (and shouldnt)

The planes are pretty much Mirrors

  • Tu-2 is a far better Ju 188
  • Su-9 is basically a Me 262 (one better at punchings tanks, the other better at punching infantry)
  • La-7 is easily as effective as the K-4 at its intended role
  • Il-10 is as useless as the me410 B-1 at BR 5
  • 1-185 is basically a 190
  • G14 is niche (and at the wrong BR)

BR 3 axis airforce has far less options

It’s better because it has lower RoF than the FG42 II

T20 used to be the best SF in the game with its 700 RPM. FG42-II used to have less damage, now it suffers from excessive firerate that makes you bleed bullets and make the gun harder to control. Soviets used to only have 15 round SF.

AVT40(20) has slightly more recoil than T20, but it’s 660 RoF makes it perform relatively the same in terms of recoil but allows even lower bullet bleed and

FG-42 II remains the weakest SF in the game until it gets it’s RoF reduced to match the T20 and gets a bayonet

Well i see it otherwise he said that allies must cooperate in order to win

Now look what happened then so:

They cooperated they managed to win 90% of games against GE

Soviets may have the Best weapons into the Game on br 5 and 3 specially but once again they lack the skill to use it cleary the opposite as germans

And it’s relatable once i went with a Kv-1 and smashed the cap points 3 times in a row then the Germans realized hunt My tank located our spawns and places some mgs near point in order to not let US advance

We Lost that Game Even though at first seem to be a ez win and we could have won since i noticed that germans had a weak point on that line of defenses where we could build a rally behind their lines and push but Guess what i needed support from other players and My mates werent to able to know what the words “help” means

Well Soviets need better tanks at BR V IS-3 or T-44-100 will be nice additions. That’s the only problem soviets have in BR V.

KV-85 and Prototype Panther in BR3. Solved.

I actually like the Scotti, however with it’s high ROF and small 15 round magazine I spend more time reloading then shooting. It either needs 25 rounds or dropped a level. FG42 II I also like, but same situation, I spend more time reloading then shooting, but I wouldn’t promote dropping it a level.

Br 4 tank vs br 5 tank. But i do agree that they need better br 5 tech tree tank with 100 mm cannon. Right now t34 100 is the only tank worth using and it is behind event. Either add is-100 or t44-100

Heresy.

Maybe we should try the ISU-152-S first? It’s like a KV-2, only with better armor, faster reload, better penetration, and without that ridiculously huge silhouette.

And without the turret. Although, given the turret traverse speed of the KV-2, it’s safe to say it doesn’t have a turret either.

And only if this measure doesn’t create balance should such paper homunculuses be used.

It’s incredibly frustrating to see every faction turn into a paper Japan.

"This is not heresy. This is a tank with authentic Soviet characteristics.

I think the only reason you want the SU-152 is because its model has been sitting in the game’s underlying code since the open beta.

But honestly, large-caliber guns in this game are still too weak. You patiently wait through that 30-second reload, finally fire your precious shell… and then it all goes wrong. Either some nameless network latency swallows it whole, or because you hit a perfect corner on a staircase or a piece of wood, and all the spalling just gets deleted.

Yeah, in that moment, all your passion for this tank instantly goes cold."

Historical accuracy is long gone and shouldnt be excuse for anything. Pretty much anything that existed in ww2 can be added even if it is paper tank or prototype. Soviets are already running with prototype rpd, ak 47 and jet fighters. Having a prototype tank would be fitting.

Isu 152 is not a good alternative since it is a tank destroyer and lacks many abilities normal tanks do like coax mg and lack of turret. It also doesnt fix the main issue of is 2 which is the long reload. but i wouldnt mind if it was a alternative.

Or maybe you’ll get a BR6 for these kinds of toys, separate from other battle ratings?

Instead of making even more useless brs they should just make +0- matchmaker.

None of these saw a single second of WW2 action.

So I’m wholeheartedly hating on these.

“Balance” with stuff that wasn’t used in WW2 is not balance.

This.

It’s a non stop vicious cycle of “now faction X needs a counter for balance!”.

Why should players who want to enjoy actual, real WW2 items like PPSh 41 drum, IS-2, StG or Tiger 2 be forced to ±0 against fakes and prototypes?

Simply:

  • move all the bullshit to BR6
  • lock BR6 at ±0 MM
  • open all maps and all factions Free for All for BR6 since those players don’t care about WW2 and think “fun” is “balance”, let them balancedly defend Stalingrad as Japanese from American invasion
