They say that it is almost as powerful as a Mosin after it has been fully upgraded if darkflow decides to just add more upgrade levels
really hope they make a sidegrade system like planetside 2 or team fortress 2
nah i like braking gun down cause i am afraid the alterantive could be more grindy or add other things on top of the one we already have to do i would only like them to give us a guaranteed upgrade all of the time cause some are 80% chance which can be frustrting
I would prefer gun mastery or something over a RNG system. There is a small population of players that WILL get the minimum ammount EVERY time and FAIL every upgrade that can fail. It’s a small portion, like 0.001%, but they exist. Imagine destroying 100 guns for 3 upgrades, which all fail

They can keep the breaking down guns part, I just dont like that they are straight upgrades and would perfer them be sidegrades or modifications

no it would be awful i can already see the shitty scopes and other bizzare shit that games such as battlefield do being implemented maybe do some shit that improves reliability and make the russian ones have more issues like these
Gun breaking would be okay as long as the ammount of parts received is guaranteed to be equal
I never mentioned scopes or anything silly like that, I mean modifying weapon stats, increasing one while decreasing another stat. For example, increasing a guns accuracy by increasing its weight or decreasing rate of fire
like breaking down during battle and needing fixing on the battlefield and sometimes completly or breaking down for good

I would like it better than just making your gun OP with the upgrade system as is. Seriously adding flat +20% damage is insane and throws weapon balance out the window
the current scrapping mechanic but instead of a range, an average.
It just makes upgraded weapons a requirement to compete.
Yeah, that’s why I hate the current upgrade system
In every other build of the game I never felt required to progress just to have competitive equipment, heck I never even had enough free time to unlock the AT rifles because of the alpha schedule, but I never felt like I was under powered. I progressed because the gameplay was fun and because I wanted to use the more varied equipment.
Now that their is a perk that adds 35% health you need to upgrade your 13 damage rifles to be able to reliably one shot soldiers with this perk
If it becomes a requirement to be underpowered for a few hours of gameplay before you get to have fun, why wouldnt I just play one of the other WW2 games on the market that doesnt have this issue.

well, they are starting with squads.
don’t know how much further they will go.
but i presume they are just gonna limit on squads, and maybe skins if not boosters.
