I could ask what is your logic of even mentioning this plane that far as I know has absolutely nothing to do with downtiering F4Fu ?
F4F4 was in BR IV in the past and it was good in BR IV. Its not a BR V plane. There is planes in BR IV with same rocket potential and much more guns that are much better against ground targets.
Doubt they would have moved it if it was.
Thought you said the only planes with rockets in BR IV were attackers, this would be fighter with rockets.

What I really donāt like is
Instead of getting 50kg x 4, Iād rather get one 250kg.
The 50kg can be easily avoided by tank players as long as they move immediately.

It has 4 hvars and a drop tank and its BR IIIā¦ so yeah BR IV plane can have 8 HVARS if BR III have 4 and a drop tank with a blast radius of 3-4 HVARS.
And I donāt understand the fear of HVARS since RP-3 rockets are far better for spam and infantry killing.
Devs have NO clue whatsoever what BR is balanced, nor how the different vehicles are used nor what role they should be.
Game is lacking in terms of too few Battlefield Roles. Should be more separate roles. AS in IF tanks was ATLEAST separated Tanks, SPGs and Armored Cars and balanced by BR within their role, not Tanks vs Armored Car, or as in this case different role Aircraft to other ones outside their roles, cause that doesnāt work, clearly

They cant create such complicated class system there is only 2 tank slots and 2 plane slots 1 for ground attacker 1 for fighter so if they split the tank class in to different classes wont be beneficial to the current system. If the game allowed more players would be different story,

the event also and since why would we have P2W and not in the TT ? where is the logic ? So if we continue like this all the best stuff will be P2W. The US faction is a typical example of the P2W problem since it has many premium squads and vehicles with better equipment then the tech tree or allowing you better combination then you can do in the TT.
Got to admit that I havent really played BR3 for quite some time but It feels slightly stupid that I even have to explain the premiums arent exactly common as TT versions.
And the fact that I dont ever recall even seeing this plane.

premium squads, funny colors in TT vehicle just doesnt seem appealing.
Cuz why would I use it there is better planes better run two ground attackers and one fighter with 2x250 kg bombsā¦ 6xHVARS are not equal to 2x250 kg bombs. P-51D-5 is much better and cheaper option. Then you run a XA and Mosquito.
Id take the rockets for infantry deleting any given day over bombs.
If they are 10 x HVARS yes if not I prefer the bombs.
It is easy to answer the question.
There are some planes using RP-3 itself that are not good (Beaufighter MkX), and RP-3 is a good rocket, but the problem is heavy.
Airplanes using HVAR typically have the P-47D-28, which has the best performance of any attack aircraft, with 10 HVARs and 500 lb bomb.
The HVAR can be installed because it is lightweight.
Moderate power and moderate weight do not require much performance from the plane, and make it more usable.
even 6 will do, bombs are absolute trash against infantry.
BR 4 has been a plane dead zone for a fair whileā¦as in not much different than BR 3(few exceptions).
Id be inclined to put all BR 5 prop aircraft in BR 4ā¦and most of the BR 4 fighters to BR 3
leave BR 5 for jets, super heavy tanks and select fires. (Need BR Ā±0 to round it out)

Well jets dont have rockets and yet they are better even then rockets since they have very very big bombs.
The Beaufighter is better then the AP4 against infantry but the lighting is better then the Beaufighter its really up to the plane.
I know im in the same position BR IV is very dead zone for planes. But there is even more problems for Japan all Zones are dead zones xD
