Well as a concept an event squad with an StG prototype etc would be nice. The issue with this types of squads is that they are unobtainable for players joining the game after the event ends. So they have a disadvantages. This however isnt the case with the PPK-42 since it is just a decent gun and not meta-defining as it would be an StG44 variant in an even squad

I do in fact see now, that it might come across as unfair for anybody joining later. That is however if the release of the tech tree version is still far away. Which I hope it is not.
And I would have believed that the devs would have made sure, that the STG wouldn’t be OP. Given that it is a limited reward squad.
Do you think the STG44 cannot be balanced?`
If it can be balanced, why the worry. If it can’t, why and what could we do, to give it our best?
