It was better in the closed beta.
There weren’t all those crying virgins about balance.
Standardize your weapons. Caliber damage is unbalanced blah blah blah…
Limiting the number of deployments per battle means no balance…
Friendly fire from grenades, bombs and artillery is unbalanced blah blah blah.
And so the children of CS, CoD, BF and other Fortnites ruined the game.
And in the closed beta, Enlisted was a balance game. A balance between games such as squad, hll, red orchestra, and CoD, BF and H&G.
And teams. Maybe boots. But after all, there is a game where there are not 100 marshals running on the battlefield.
Maybe the team control mechanics from brother in arms hell’s highway would be better.
People in CB also don’t charge forward like lemmings.
All in all, machine guns were a rarity in the game because everyone preferred to lie behind cover with a rifle and survive as long as possible.
Inb4: >omg like no1 would run through suppressive fire and all would simply larp in the rubble liek real combat warrior 2999 vazili helmut on all is ruined all is futile
The reason CS, CoD and BF kids ruin the game is that they can only run forward.
No thinking whatsoever. And they blame the Beaters for losing or dying all the time. That the game sucks because he has to move one gray cell to change tactics.
I don’t understand how you can believe that if I run under the barrel of an enemy HMG 30 times, maybe something will finally change.
I’ll say this as nice as I can:
Enlisted is the most arcade and easiest fps game in the genre (especially compared to your games) with the lowest possible skill ceiling. Enlisted is populated by bots.
You, too, probably get absolutely rolled in BF, CoD or CS. Thus playing Enlisted - the game where even the most untalented players easily rack a positive KD.
Ironically the bots are the same reason for your joy and tears. I’m sorry but not sorry.
While a CoD or BF-like play experience with a large number of M2 carbines and Stg44s is certainly fun, I really want a more relaxed play experience.
In beta, enlisted was a slower fight, and the excitement of sneaking up the side of an enemy tank with a PTRD, the fun of figuring out where to place hedgehogs and barbed wire, and the excitement of facing the onrushing weak gun-toting soldiers with BA is certainly missing now.
If you play that way now, the enemy will push in near the gray zone if you are the attacker, and the game will be over in 10 minutes if you are the defender.
What was hard about BF and CoD? lol. same shit different game. Unless you are talking about the vehicles/planes/helis…cos if you mastered that shit, aint no one deleting you. forgiving TTK, and vehicle that allows for basically being unstoppable once mastered. High skill ceiling yeah, but stupid.
Nah CoD2042 is certainly worse. Helis now are flying sponge if you fight against them as inf, inf itself has insane long ttk and next to no classes and scope spam.
I categorically deny the existence of any other CoD than CoD2 S&D and CoD4 S&D ProMod.
Also low TTK means more shots to be landed, which gives much more importance to momentum and mouse-tracing, plus headshots weight more. It’s a different set of talent needed in these low TTK games (Apex, ET, notoriously Quake Lightning Gun) than CS.
Low TTK read above, CoD2 S&D doesn’t even compare with this arcade, and lastly as I recall BF wasn’t ever manned with 70% of bots in the server. Also about CS: I’d take CS casual bots over Enlisted bots and 95% of the playerbase every day.
Which BF are we talking about, I’ll let you pick: BF1942, BF2, BF3, BF4, BFV, BF:Vietnam? Also have you mastered some of tanks / planes / helis in such a way we could properly discuss this? Not being snark, just curious.
Also I do have to point out that in Enlisted everybody that can breathe with their mouth closed is “unstoppable” in most of the games.
On one hand I agree, that longer TTK only inflates the skill required as in you actually have to maintain your shots on target (or go for headshots) and not just get lucky. But at the same time, can be seen as “forgiving” when you make a mistake that should have cost you, you can sponge it and then heal back.
This experiment was hugely evident in BF V when people were complaining TTK was too fast so they increased it to try and accommodate new/noob players…Only to find that new/noob players couldn’t get the required amount of hits on target to get a kill and got pwned even harder.
more meaning if someone in enlisted wants to get rid of your tank, a plane bomb will do it every time. You don’t have the magic button of 2 seconds damage immunity, 3rd person view, or instant repair (again can be argued that it takes skill and timing to use these tools at their full potential, but massively forgiving when making mistakes)
