sure if you remove all the italian smgs, second the 250 round mg42 is a fixed weapon, not a man portable model, you cant talk about historical accuracy when germans are using the mg42 like a stinger or a bar. yes they prioritized machine guns to the detriment of semi auto rifle and smgs. you can not just bring up history only when you want to. so no germans dont get the on,ly tech tree 250 round infantry gun.

The belts used in the HK21 are DM1 belts and the ones RTG is selling are also. No difference between them.
Standard length for field use belts are 50 rds and the segments of 50 can be linked together to make any multiple of 50rds. I have seen 100rd belts and 200rd belts which are used in vehicles and have run some through my guns over the years. 200 or 250rd belts are also frequently called “fortress” belts because they were used in that length in special ammo cans for fortresses in WWII.
As for the ammo boxes RTG sells I’ve not seen any for the HK 21 but they did have 50rd belt drums and 200 rd ammo boxes that clip onto the feed tray for the MG3. The HK 21 uses a special box attachment that is not compatible with the MG3 type. Those boxes tend to go for a lot of money while the MG3 boxes are much less.

listen to me one the stinger is a limited weapon meaning you cant just have multiple squads armed with it, two even the stinger should only be a 100 round gun, its a us ammo box cut in half meaning 100 not 250 rounds, besides germany has access to 50 plus mgs from br three. also we cqan all get together and hate on russia for having all the good toys.
there only weakness for rifles is at br2 with the winchester and not a semi auto, they have good smgs at every br, good mgs at every br, decent tanks and planes, so brother join hands with me in are shared spit for the true enemy russia.

you have wax in your ears prototypes have always been a part of enlisted. my point was not that is was not used as a man portable mg but at over a hundred rounds it can not be used as a Lmg. bolting a 250 round box to the side and it will snap off if fired without being supported by say the ground. tape belt fed the belt would go on the ground and trip the soldier or cut his head of if looped around the neck (A JOKE). SHOW ME IT CAN BE USED FROM THE HIP OR SHOULDER with 250 rounds and that is enough.

Seriously what’s your problem with the MG42?In this GAME we can carry more than 6-8 magazines of a weapon, grenades/Charges,TNT, Mines, Knives, Shovels, First Aid Kits,AT weapons,Mortars, Flamethrowers,ETC a lot of weightWhere I now mention where the PROBLEM is where the MG42 could be used as an MP40 or an STG44 Although it was not advisable to use it this way
