Talk with Community about Monetization

Premium squads.

half a year vs instantaneous is not fine.

Instead of arguing ā€œwho hates P2W the mostā€ we should rather demand more trust from developers.
Everyone in went into closed beta testing with knowing, that everything we will see can be changed and we all can have impact on that.
Cherry-picking (of course there is possibility, that it was actually a random pick… but who knows at this point) few people is what got us in this situation in the first place.

It’s cool to see all the different people that all have different views on basically everything regarding this game come together against P2W. Together we can make this game good, but only if the devs trust us.

Thats what i talking about  I think I am the only one who born is USSR here.
I dont see a reason why this system agressive to non-pay players. You can be first in team even with vanilla squad.

You told 100 times I answer 101 time - its powerful. But not imposible.

Half of a year is your math. Its a lot more faster irl.

But

I see you guys seem a little on edge. Last thing I want to do is throw oil on that bonfire
So o7
Keep calm and Hurrrraaah

for how much i would love to agree.

i have to disagree.

i’m not here to play the blaim game. but i supsect that those ā€œfewā€ is for the whole other community.
which i recall @627636 saying that whatever we do in the english forum, it’s a 50%50 between communities. ( he didn’t actually said that ) but he is right.

and there is nothing much to do.

like, some things that are normal for them, aren’t for us, and viceversa.

Just calm down a little bit, posting all the… ā€œfilthā€ publicly too soon is going to bury Enlisted faster than unintentionaly bad monetizing decisions will. It is important to actually do our best to prevent this first. We can always trashtalk Enlisted on public later if everything fails

never mind. everything is getting deleted so.

Do you want to ā€œkill Enlistedā€ by bad PR in advance? I do not.
I was reacting on quickly deleted suggestion to ā€œmake everybody outside knowā€

So unless it is IMPOSSIBLE to beat, it is not P2W?
Anything that has objectively better stats, aka MP41, is P2W.

So, in other words p2w

You are literally saying: to kill the premium squads, you need to be better than them

How are new players going to defeat them with no skill

I kill all the guys with no prem bolt action squads. We can discuss it for ever.

no skill advantage*

Just because you can kill them doesn’t mean you have to put in much more effort then they do.

here’s the point.

i don’t even have to do that.

like, as we said earlier, enlisted already has it’s own bad reputitation from streams of what streamers showed. and i’m not making anything up.
can you just imagine what will happens if those leaks will be in published to everyone?

how do you think they are gonna react?

" ah yes, i’m so happy to waste x money to get the weapons that i want "

https://www.cyberdefinitions.com/definitions/P2W.html

Definiton of P2W just to make things clear and get away confusion.

Reputation regarding RNG elements while their newest public info is that it is going to be changed.
Nothing mentioning premium account or currency…yet.

I will combine my answers into one message. (Sorry for my English.)

Today we launched testing of the monetization mechanics in our game. In it, we check the operation of the system - how purchases in the game work.

We invited a small number of players to this testing. They received a message in the game client.

The testing was not secret. We do not prohibit players from discussing it and do not hide its existence (some players call this information a leak).

For convenience, such players have a section where they can inform us about problems and errors in monetization.

Prices during this testing and monetization opportunities are in development! They can change many times, like the system itself, so we are not planning to discuss this mechanics in large quantities yet (there is nothing to discuss).

In the future, we plan to release devblogs, in which we will talk about the work on improving the game mechanics and touch on some topics in them, including those related to opportunities for premium currency.

The issue for many players is probably that it wasn’t publicly announced either. Just not denying it happened after someone discovered it does not help after we had already found out at other not-announced, yet important changes, such as the Pz2 armor nerf. A lot of players are dissatisfied with the lack of communication between the developers and players as a result. Of course, this is not any one’s fault specifically, but it overall is a negative thing we would like to see improved, and we are happy that you decided to make a big step in the right direction by talking to us like this.

The issue isn’t the prices, it is the concept as a whole. The announcement for progression change specifically mentioned reduced randomness in progression. And now, we get a leak of exactly identical randomness in progression, but in addition to that, added monetization of what are now officially loot boxes, which will lead to an official ban for this game in two countries, namely the Netherlands, and Belgium, due to how controversial this is. It does not guarantee getting what you are paying for, because the aforementioned randomness in progression.

I am trying to stay as positive as I possibly can here, but this is quite possibly the worst choice for monetization the developers could have ever went with.

As alternatives, I would like to propose the following:
