A quite interesting roster for a flight, I’d say (I wonder where the destination is, considering the internationality of the passengers? 
) . Here’s my thoughts on the seats;
seats 1 and 5 seem like solid choices, plenty of discussion to be had with maybe Para, Valkay, or Ogge, and would probably be fun.
seats 2 and 6, you would have neighbors flying for business, but you might hear whispers of upcoming BR changes or new events if you do speak to them, and would be pleasant for the most part company-wise.
seat 3, you’d come of the plane knowing more history than 99% of the world’s population without realizing it, and as someone who already loves history, this is a good option.
seat 7 is absolutely evil, you’d probably jump off the plane mid flight without a second thought, I’m pretty sure nobody on their free will would sit between Parrot and Adam.
seat 4 is probably an okay choice, Comrade Sina seems chill but I know little of him.
seat 8 is between the great Emperor Yoshiro and a similarly great CC, so a great choice for your seat.
All in all, I’d probably pick either seat 1 or 8.

Would any of your choices change if you treated it like a regular aicraft with an aisle running down the middle? You could potentially have a conversation with your opposite in the outre seat, but not as comfortably as if you sat in the middle of a row or at least in the same row.

If it was like that, I would probably consider seat 8 and 3 more, but seat 1 would still be alright. Most anywhere though (except for 7, that’s no man’s land), would be nice.
Well the destination is Scorching Rays” update but I dont think we gonna be there in 12 hours so Buckle up its gonna be a long flight
