Supply drop №4

Yeah, after using it in some of my custom matches, it’s not a bad gun, but why the Dev’s chose to handicap it with a 15 round magazine in BR5 is beyond me.

It states about the Chinese variant … that was locally produced in China after they have used the original one that the troops complained that the mags are too big… they have locally produced 20 and 25 rounds straight mags that are different then the original ones however there is some that are possibly 15 also locally produced. Its only clearly state that you have selective cherry picking capabilities read again what it states it states about the locally produced copies of SIG 7.

You need to provide Chinese source to prove this point

I haven’t found any Chinese source claiming that they has used 50 round mag

I need to do nothing the gun is in the game get over it…you can make some salty post about it no one cares really.

If you really think searching for 50 mag is unnecessary, then why you bother yourself searching for it’s information from very beginning?

posting a single book is not research on Chinese SIG KE7 you can make a real research and come to conclusion that they never purchased 50 round magazines but even then it will be pointless since its far more realistic then any prototype weapon or the last 2 German guns and many more guns that are in the Japanese TT and saw no service In the BR IV without the flamethrower and the planes what saw service ?

“It uses a magazine, is easy to carry and use, is well-made, and is flexible and easy to load. It can be quickly loaded whether standing, kneeling, or prone.”

I don’t think the 50 mag fits that description

Go find the SIG purchase of guns and mags and look the inventory and then you can prove your point and as I told you even then is usless since you literally have 15 round magazines that never existed and prototypes even in BR II Germany. They have like 44 000 mags good luck.

  • 1928: The provincial government of Guangdong purchased 200 KE7s.
  • 1928-1939: The Chinese government purchased 3,025 Swiss-made KE7s.
  • 1933-1936: The Huaxing Machine Works produced approximately 6,000 copies of the KE7 after acquiring the necessary machinery.

As you can see you will have to check a lot of data and not one single report from 1937 since they started purchasing the guns from 1928.

I strongly recommend doing this while playing market garden event, even if you finished it, it makes things much much faster

Iirc, ke7 was completely replaced by zb26 in China and the factory went on to produce zb26, so it makes sense ke7 was used with 20-25 round mag only.

Still, I just find the whole debate dumb because it only shows the Allies should get ke7 rather than Japan.

? aint a 50 7.7 magazine fit that role? Easy to carry, just a elongated magazine not take too much space and can be handed easily, flexible and easy to load, aint that what makes magazine fed guns special?, quickly loaded whether standing kneeling or prone, aint that the most important aspect of reloading a magazine fed gun?

Obviously you lack knowledge about light weapons. 50 round magazines are very inconvenient to carry and use, as their length is too long to be used in prone position. That’s one of the main reason why full-power cartridg magazines are very rare. In modern times, it’s even hard to see anyone using full-power cartridg mag with more than 30 rounds.

Thats the locally produced version you are talking about we dont have it in game:

We have the imported version that the Japanese used:
SIG Ke 7 Japan
