Suicide Bombing penalty

No, i dont think any penalties like this would do any good.

I’ve seen players with premium planes suicide and kill dozens of people just by spinning planes, but its rare in my case.

Problem is you people want to penalize anything without thinking of consequences to the gameplay. Doing such penality wont do anything good and would give more incentive for tanker campers and less of it for newbie players that are learning how to fly as well as overall learning how to fly for new and skilled players

Maybe add a penalty if it happens more than twice, but i genuinly dont see a reason to give it such impact to the gameplay over that instance.
It certainly is a problem, but a miniscule one compared to the whole gameplay as its not something that disrupts my gameplay at least, i cant speak for anyone else.

I would punish this suicide bombing. Not with the deduction of tickets for the team but the player directly. For each suicide flight 500 of his points and experience points are deducted. If he then goes out of the game with negative points every time, he will think twice about continuing this nonsense.

By the way, the same applies to gray zoned camping tanks. Tanks must leave the gray zone otherwise they should not be able to damage the enemy.

Adding my 2 cents…

I mostly played with Moscow axis equipment, so the HS-123, JU-87, BF-109 and BF-110 are familiar for me + some experience in warthunder.

The usual scenario with planes for me is - if there are no enemy planes, no enemy tanks and no AA guns or anything else that could threaten me - I often end up flying for a very long time. Basically, shallow dive, be more or less on target, single click of space - 1 bomb series release and pull up, carrousel, single click of space again then be on the way to base. Rinse and repeat, with slight tweaks depending on the kind of plane I’m flying and map specifics.
So long, that some folks would accuse me of stealing an aircraft spot and not letting others have some fun/experience.
I try to stick with the vehicle for as long as possible - bailing out only if it’s obvious that I won’t be making another trip to base and frontline. Then go on to fight with the pilot on the ground.

As for this penalty…

I like this approach. This one should ensure that equipment is accounted for and scores do make sense.
At least, if both sides use scores.
@tommyZZM also gave good points with “Flexible Examples Show Why It Works, Spawn Score Mechanic For Custom Games or Mod Missions”.

I don’t think the player directly should be punished. Because, otherwise, You’d need a way to determine whether this was an accidental crash, or an actual tactic.
But otherwise? I think he/she should be aware that he/she is wasting valuable pieces of equipment by this, possibly careless, flying.
