If this system have implemented to the game, It would make TTK pretty longer since Automatics, and some assets being reduced.
If you want to use MP43 more often you just could put 2 squads of MP43 then. It’s a choice of yours to add or not.
It Won’t that much. Since weapon it self’s stat haven’t changed, weapons are same as before. Just its number a bit reduced. And As I said Above the Value of each weapons on my suggestion is just a randomly chosed Placeholder. It isn’t fixed, could be changed.
Yes I know, most of they could be bad or rather an AI Bot, and that’s one of the point. There isn’t many users in Enlisted. Not that much, and user income flow is small either. Those New-coming players just keep being dead, leaves the game, and team loses for being filled With AIs Bots instead of players, and to win spam Full autos again… It is a vicious circle.
I totally agree with this as it reduces the gap between newbies and veterans, while increasing the fun of the game and providing a lot of variety at the same time.
Not exactly the same thing, a bit Different. This one deals with a narrower range, Mostly only about Armaments, and is a little more granular. well Ive read your Suggestion Before though, can’t deny that this influenced by it
You can try and sell it as different but I see that as basically a rehash of exactly what I had been taking about for almost a year just rewritten.
Yours might just be weapons but basically you’re selling the same concept as your own.
The balance idea is flawed though without the squad value balance required as well that prevents people from rotating out 3 assault/flame/tank squads. It needs that as well or it fails because it addresses only one of the 3 major balance problems.
Over the last year I’ve refined the approach and encompassed all 3 variables that factor into gameplay.
It was, and never will be just weapons.
Your table doesn’t eliminate another spam which is that of grenades. Without that on the tally sheet, you will just move the goal posts on balance and make a new Meta. Further to that as well it makes premium squads in their current iteration P2W. Because they can break the mold on Weapon requirements while you hamstring the F2P squads.
Why this makes the progression system useless? Even Heroes & Generals has limit to those High tier weapons. Like repair cost or weapon weight system. In H&G, single soldier can’t use two heavy weapons at a time, or they have to sacrifice their ammo to carry more weapons or some bandages.
Because, the point system make high end weapon value to much in the squad AKA as OP posted you can use one of them in every squad, now tell me the point to unlock better weapon if you have still use early one in mass, it kill the grind, the point system is a shit
Instead limit same squad type spam and lock automatic weapons only to assaulter and enginer squad can reduce drastically the auto spam, withaut kill squad management
I don’t know why those thing kills squad management. It makes players to choose between powerful but small squad, or Less powerful with Semi/BA rifles, but large squad.
And lock automatic rifles only to Assault and Engineer? Why they would use Automatic rifles for Assault? They already has more powerful weapons. PPSh and MP43.
Yes. It will be dramatically. More than this suggestion. But those change can kill squad management.
Limiting same squad type also can’t reduce those auto spam. Instead of using 3 SMG squad, they will use 1 SMG 1 MG 1 Engineer squad armed with automatic rifles. Not to mention there would be more problem for those premium squads owners.
That player with high end equipment at worst is just going to quit the game entirely and also what’s the point of grinding when you are being limited on your firepower because “we want to help new players” BS when there are much better alternatives without resorting to draconian measures like what OP is suggesting that would piss off veterans such as unlockable squad slots.
I think we can do it similar to when the random purchase of bronze cards disappears with the update.Randomly purchased useless weapons were converted into parts and into bronze cards.
actual noobs quit because of the progression system, not because people have better guns than them. stupid ideas like this are catering to ww2 nerds that want to see certain guns not used alot anymore. this idea wont help the noobs AT ALL… it’ll only discourage them more since u leave the game with months worth of dedicated grinding and hardly anything to show for it. no wonder the developers hardly listen to ‘suggestions’ when poorly thought out stuff like this is posted daily!
