Suggestion for balance of vehicles in battle

I agree with this, I think frags and smokes should be the focus. Maybe explosion packs should be limited by certain squads?

“like” this.

Maybe the system should be dependent on campaign? Obviously Normandy I’ve heard is a big issue with late-tier tanks, but some of the maps in Berlin are hard to traverse.

i did purpose them only avaiable to engineers and bombers. to make usage of bomber actually a worth soldier/squad to have

Still basic MM is need, at least for new players. Like if i joined a game and in my first match i come across to players like @Shiivex ( <3 ) i would instantly hate the game :joy:

Eventually we may add this to the 2nd, more hardcore-realistic-historical mode that I’ve been trying to convince people to for 5 months now.
More historical game via custom lobbies
More realistic and more historical game via custom lobbies + other stuff
Lone Fighter mode is going away so maybe introduce a new sim-ish mode?

nah, tanks are already too dominant. Being able for everyone to kill them when they come close should be an option

Well, I think as the game’s gotten older, most people strayed away from bolt-actions. I think that’s somewhat of a problem and some sort of system should be put in place to avoid scaring away new players who most definitely have little chance against endgame players.

it also gets boring to play against or with lowlevel players over and over
and its frustrating to play only against my level players like this is a esl major final

a midground… we need a midground on MM

I think an Immersive/Historically-accurate toggle (like Voyo suggested) could probably fix some of this, but it obviously isn’t the final or permanent solution to this. I feel like we’re straying further away from some immersive WW2 game and heading towards some average arcadey shooter.

Both true. Maybe maybe add some basic new players protection, like you only goes against lets say lvl10 players for the first 15-20 matches in a campaign. Something like that, hope you get the spirti

did suggest that over the last months .

@Conscript_Joe is working in something also to boost a new player experience :

I agree with it. Should be randomly given one Premium squad for a match, and after the match there should be a menu asking if the player would want to buy it after essentially testing it. Buying it would obviously mean that they keep it, while it would be RNG next match whether or not they get that squad or a different Premium squad to test.

again. Only for newplayers.

this is gold, and will reduce the effect of low tier tanks constantly losing vs high tier tanks. however some of the other ideas in this thread are a bit strange… I wouldn’t want to limit people to 1 tank per game, thats nuts

Either that or the system is disabled after a player buys one or two Premium squads. It would help F2P players not lose their minds too. I understand that the system could be abused if they don’t disable it, so someone with one Premium squad left to buy would always get that as their random squad

Please go read the thread, and feel free to add any ideas to it. We want (and need) new players to STAY with us.

That’s where you are wrong kiddo.

  • Bereta M38 is a low weapon and the best SMG in tunisia axis.
  • M1 garand is a low weapon and you will keep in until the end or close to end game. In normandy or tunisia.
  • Armaguerra too in tunisia.
  • MP40 in moscow.

Also there are a lot of weapon that can be very good if upgraded, and can be as powerfull as non upgraded end game weapons.

Finaly sometime i just enjoy the sound of my kar98k or my gewehr even if I know I got a full squad of FG42.

Raly point win more battle than op weapons… one day people will understand it.

For russian yea maybe… but russian end game weapons are broken so you never use the low tier version.
