They got rid of the necroposting rules for suggestions with the rework.
So it really doesnt matter if its 1 year old or not.
Anyway yeah they can add It with 15APHE 15HE and 6 HEAT why less Heat because It have more filler 2.6kgs and a 8 sec reload wen using perks the HE have 1.8kgs of TNT soo is still enougth for nuke infantry

Nope, StuH definitely does not need 15 APHE shells.
72mm of pen for a BR3 is not going to cut it for a vehicle that is only good because of it’s cannon.

Tons of tanks don’t need that much APHE but they still get a ton of It soo It should stay like that
If it was supposed to be a low 1-2 BR tank then yea but i think it’s going to be on BR 3 if it’s going to be added so really there’s no excuse for having low penetration APHE on BR 3.

The APHE will also works a lil as HE because It have 300grams of TNT and I don’t think It would go to BR2 because remenber that people didn’t wanted the Stug III G there the Stuh 42 have the same armor of the Stug III G
Chi-ha short gun has 2.6 kg explosive in its HE shells with the same reload. HEAT shells for StuH 42 would be completely fine as long as the supply is somewhat limited to 12-15 shells, while the rest are HE shells.

Would kind of suck if germany gets this in br3 meanwhile sherman 105 goes to br4 when everyone else gets big guns.
But this have 95-80mm armor and we don’t need another tank with only HE-HEAT and they basically don’t do that for example the PZ IV F1 could just go with HE-HEAT but they gave It APHE wen the tank have AP or APHE they change one of the shells to AP-APHE
Sherman M4A3(105) is still league above the StuH 42 or Chi-Ha naval gun, however Allies had many other howitzer tanks that could be added for BR III.
To name a few:
- Cromwell mk.VI with a 95mm howitzer
- Bishop
- M7 Howitzer Motor Carriage “Priest”

All worse than stuh with 105 and russia’s 122. The gun on the alec sucks ass, 90mm doesn’t mean anything there.
U.S. often gets shafted because the good stuff is “too good” (“but it has a turret and a mg”), and the stuff that is acceptable is worse than. The sherman platform isn’t even that good, it’s just a good all-rounder tank.
so… what makes a howitzer vehicle good in your opinion?
Because the 95 mm OQF Mk.I can destroy any enemy vehicle from BR I to IV and has faster reload than StuH, KV-2, SU-122 and Chi-Ha naval gun.

Is the same of the alecto one no? On WT they changed the HE shells to a much more powerfull ones that we have on enlisted before It was less powerfull than the HEAT shells they could Buff the alecto to this i suppose

But it would be utterly useless for actually killing tanks on the same BR 3. Unlike USA or Soviet, you are not fighting some shitty tanks with 50mm flat armor on the turret section in StuH 42, you are fighting KV-1, T-34E STZ and Sherman. There’s no need to have this low penetration APHE shell as a deliberate disadvantage like Panzer 4 F1/E and Stalingrad Panzer 3 N on BR 2, as StuH 42 will be BR 3 if it’s added.
