Store discount: USSR squads

I used to be really hyped about new major updates.

Now every time I’m scared thinking what other prototype atrocities the new devs can add.

Oh how can they destroy the last bits of WW2 in this game even more, for the sake of “fun”.

Serious question, what is even on the agenda for the next major update? There has nothing really been announced or hinted at so far.

This seems to be a surprise update I suspect.

Maybe finally a body armor update? AA or light vehicles? New Italian campaign? General BR changes?

Should we be excited or worried?

Last 3 of the 4 jets are prototypes that never saw combat, so no, no ones making things up ivan.

Afraid of jets Buby Buby huh? You have to

With the jet updates, copy-pasted ATs, event weapons that would be better for the TT, among other things… although BR5 is possibly the most played (aside from BR2/3), it doesn’t change the fact that in its current state it’s somewhat dead and leans more towards modern warfare, which destroys the charm of the game, making it a kind of historical “what if” scenario and much more frantic.

Yes exactly.

Major updates used to be Tunisia, Stalingrad, Japanese faction and Pacific front.

Now it’s all “Su-9 1946!”, “Berlin open to BR1!” and “Even more Chinese squads!”

What a hell’s wrong with you partner? Are soviet soldiers was without Mosin rifles on Berlin? Or T-60 wasn’t where - its written even in your beloved Wikipedia (Viki loves Wiki)

there was no
Even the T-70 was a rarity and they almost completely replaced the T-60

If so, I want to see the Kugelblitz and Wirbelwind with a Suomi KP-31 SJR.

You can easily bring Mosins to BR5.

2 out of 4.

The Gloster Meteor was not a “prototype” by the last year of the war, and were used for both home defence and (very late in the war) was based on the continent to engage in limited combat missions (still mindful of not straying into German or Soviet held territory for fear of capture, their tasks mostly involved airfield defence and limmited ground attack missions).

Though, as far as I am aware, they never had any air encounters against manned enemy aircraft.

Yes, it’s truly surreal to be on maps like Berlin and suddenly run into a Chinese squad, which was already rare to find in Normandy… The most stable tiers are BR2 to BR4 since the weaponry in those tiers was at least actively used in the conflict. I also find maps like Tunisia or Berlin more entertaining, but maps like Normandy or the Ardennes are simply stressful in BR5 because there are jets spamming everywhere and you have to cross large open areas when technically everyone has automatic weapons. There are maps that simply don’t favor the tier. Pre-Merge Berlin and Tunisia, as well as the Pacific, were really good for me, even though it was a true “all levels” Battle Royale.
