You are marketing the game as something it isn’t!

“That look and the same way in battles as they did in reality”- about the vehicles in enlisted.
At the same time there’s BA-11 in game AS PREMIUM SQUAD in the battle of Moscow campaign.
no one felt that tank in the battle of Moscow because it wasn’t used there. That’s like 30 seconds Google.
The jumbo, why is there a jumbo in the Normandy campaign?
Again 30 seconds google.

So again no crew in normandy felt the jumbo.
The guns.
Let’s start with the M2 carbine, what is it doing in normandy? It first was put into use in 1945.
And remember when was the invasion of Normandy?
The M2 carbine is a very late late war gun or Korean war. And once again 30 seconds google.
The M3A1, why and how is it in normandy? The gun was first put into service in the last month of 1944, few months after Normandy.
Again 30 seconds google.

And your thread is indid more important but, I just had to rant on the game dropping even the realistic title.
as somebody who played the game in the closed alpha during the berlin test
The reality is that the guns in this game are more of a “start from the bottom” approach with some “campaign specific” guns thrown in. Like in berlin you get access to the volksturm assault rifle but your rifleman still start out with pre war bolt actions
M1/M2 Carbine conversions were present earlier than the proper M2s, but they too saw action mainly during the push to Germany (Source: English Wikipedia, M1 Carbine)
M2 carbine production started steptember/october of 1944 and the initial run was only 500 units
This game compared to for example BF or CoD is like a diamond in terms of historical accuracy.
It may not be perfect but it’s light years ahead of many AAA titles.

Difference is that the weapons you get at the end of the campaign (and in the middle) are post campaign or from totally different campaign…
Well, don’t market the vehicles and guns as “realistic” I don’t have problem with the game itself I have problem with the marketing
Id argue its realistic. theyre not trying to market the game as a simulator or anything like that.

A Korean war gun at Normandy isn’t realistic might as well give AK-47 to the Russians even AK-47 for Russia would be more realistic.
also this game is highly realistic. In fact other than games like red orchestra (which this game is most similar to)
its the most realistic console available shooter there is

Okay and? The guns and tanks are not realistic and shouldn’t be marketed as realistic…
but they are. Whats unrealistic about them? most rifle caliber guns kill in one hit

Maybe some of their existence? The M2 carbine wasn’t a “official” gun (and started production) until few months after Normandy and so was the M3A1?
so what that doesnt make the game unrealistic.
you really want another ww2 game with
- m1 garand
- m1 carbine
- thomson
- 1911
- springfield 1903a4?
Inedeed game is not very realistic AI is too stupid, Wrong tanks in wrong places and certain perks break game and if setting is D-day Americans should be using Garand!
Putting guns that didn’t exist at the time in the campaigns?
Also, a lot more guns WERE IN ACTUAL USE in Normandy… It’s not like they are low on options they just chose the unrealistic ones.

" look and FEEL realistic" never was it said thats its a historically accurate military simulation
or they chose ones that would add balance. Or chose ones that were completed.
americans running around with semi automatics vs german auxillery dudes with k98s would not be fun
