Steam review predictions

i am an optimist, so 60-70% positive reviews. but considering that there are millions of players that have played this game, but we only have ~100k daily players maybe i should have put negative instead :stuck_out_tongue:

Well then, that’s def 60% Negative then,
As these millions of players that have left, will leave a Negative review :stuck_out_tongue:

But ofc, if there was never a million in first place,

And i never said 100k daily, may of been 55k daily or monthly :stuck_out_tongue:

But seriously, you may be right, in the first week, but i think it will shrink, pretty quick after that.

It’s f2p game so basically any random dude can create steam review just because decided to do so… :man_shrugging:

So it has no value either way. Its just equivalent to enlinsted’s WR. It can be manipulated so easily. So the actual number can be very random. It is basically impossible to predict.

I said it before, and posted same, doesn’t matter if its a free game, if there bugs, people wont tolerate it, for long, and fresh faces, will be very critical, esp PC crowd

We sort of accept it, due to none listen or fix, fresh ones wont, when they find out, bug been reported for last 2y, with out action.

I’m on console, but been there since CBT, this game is fun, addictive, can be frustrating, but if you don’t care about k/d, WR and just do what you like, perhaps group up, it is going to get 80-85, but bugs will let it down, so QA better get improved before review bombs appear

I guess about 60%
Depends how it will be described/advertised.

I believe there will be significant differences in percentages each week for during first month. Until everyone calms down a little bit.

It definitely will not be consistent ratio for quite some time.

I remember reading Heroes and Generals on Steam.
About half of the reviewers were old time players who came back but were disappointed with the state of the game so the most negative rating came from them.
New players were much more positive.

Enlisted pros:

  • very few cheaters
  • unique squad mechanics
  • good money value ratio (seriously, most games will try to sell you gun and knife skins)
  • largest WW2 armoury
  • overall very authentic WW2 feeling, dont expect Steam users to care about the difference between late and early war.

cons:

  • WT economy
  • uptiering

If the new Battle Pass fixes WT economy than this might as well be the overall best WW2 experience a game can offer.
CoD and BF has horrible cheater problems on older games and average joe dont want Post Scriptum complexity or realism.

About 75% of positive rewiev. The remaining 25% who review negatively will be people who are used to shooting bots, nostalgic for when they posted screenshots with 60 kills and 3 deaths, bragging about K/D

The bugs need to be fixed also. New players probably wont notice them but they will sure annoy older players

i wouldnt be so certain… there are lots of bugs that are clearly visible to new players… e.g. stretchy people, AI getting stuck on default spawn, invisible hitboxes (although not everyone will notice them), getting your tank stuck on nothing etc.

Crossout sit between 71~75% despite being a way more polished game

Mixed is my guess

An unfinished game with major core features not working correctly… it won’t be pretty if they don’t start making bot accounts on Steam.

The advertisement already here, and yeah I guess they want to dip that Squad 44 and HLL category lmao

They better remove that tag right now; people will eat that up.

Imo this has a real chance to backfire. We will see.
