33 games in as Soviet with a subpar win rate I can tell you the main reasons soviets are getting steamrolled.

  1. Players suck
  2. Hardly anyone builds rallies
  3. Hardly any Soviet player has a PPSH or any late game hardware.
  4. Following up with #3, fighting MKB/MG34 tryhard players that have already maxed Germany is next to impossible.
  5. Following up with #4 playing defense against those weapons in CQB fighting is impossible. I’m always #1 on the charts and kill countless MKB players with bolts and SVT. But it’s not enough, they keep coming and you can’t defend properly until you get the PPSH.

And that’s why soviets getting steamrolled 90% of matches

Id just do what most Axis players did when Tunisia came out and go to a different campaign for awhile. Come back after the hype is gone and most players have finished the grind. With 4X experience it wont be long

Well I’m in revenge mode right now. Once I get the late game hardware I’m hoping I can wipe the floor with these people. If I can hold my own with bolts and semi-autos can’t wait to see how it is was spamming PPSHs

you’re having issues fighting cqb with ppd and pps???

Id say Russians have the tendency to sit in windows and snipe. Nothing wrong with their weapons, they just saw Enemy at the Gates and want to be Vasily.

So unless you are a sniper attached to a radio squad that has specifically gone around the back to stop reinforcements from getting to the point. You are a wasted spot. AKA typical Russian player (from what Ive experienced)

Its pretty obvious there are a lot more german players which bought the pack than there are soviet, the amount of times i have seen Germans with assault rifles and full MP-40 squads, whereas half the soviet teams still use stock sniper squads.

Or maybe the world isn’t divided into “Soviet” and “German” playerbase, it’s just whenever a decent players gets steamrolled by MKBs with 0 friendly rallies they do the wise thing and switch to the dark side/another campaign, hence the snipers in windows i.e. newbies/children.

Just played Stalingrad, only thing why we as Soviets lacked was inteligence, if players would flanked and played objective we would have win. We were stopped on last point because we didnt had any reinforcements. Its not about weapons or something, its just players, that is only unbalanced part.

Just go play Axis. As long as maxed Soviet, no need to stay in this faction.

Normally i am not the kind of person to complain about loosing as long as i have fun. But this time i got to say that even for a happy person like me its pretty bad and not fun to play with teammates who always loose even if i try my best to protect the objective. I had a challenge “get 2 wins” and i played an entire day. Now i am at “1 out of 2”. Its very frustrating…

When I play soviets I try and flank while defending to hit the enemy before they get to point. However I’m finding if I don’t stay 10 feet from point the Germans will cap the objective in no time. There is just no time to do an actual flank and hopefully kill off the rally points. They are already on top of the objective and players just suck defending

I would’ve stayed in Stalingrad more if it wasn’t for the DT-29 in Moscow and the assaulter III squad in Berlin. Would come back to Stalingrad after I level up the assaulter III squad in Berlin where I will have three PPSh squads like Moscow(not gonna use Fedorov since I prefer PPSh besides it’s more historically sense to use the latter).

Too many bad teams to the point that I would rather do desert to another match hopefully with a better team instead of losing my sanity on monkey teams especially as defenders with so many try hard Vasily Zaytsevs around.

Can’t fix shit map design. I suspected it was going to be a camp-fest littered with diabetic sweatlords, and my prediction came true!

“Noooooo we need Twin Towers verticality so I can get easy snipes!” /s

The problem is that soviets are so damn passive its impossible to do anything. But on lots of maps at least one of the cap zones has basically no decent rally spot, you have to cross vast open flat land with no cover, surrounded by buildings full of germans loaded with gear. Also, you can build defensive rallies almost right on the point so you can’t even really cut reinforcements lol

Hurr durr

The pack opens up for BOTH factions…

Both faction have equally potent equipment, the only thing is the player base. Axis players prefer to play Stalingrad as the recent unlocks in other campaigns are seriously disappointing. Unlocks for allies however are pretty nice in all campaigns… So you end up with diluted allies players.

I rather doubt it, it might be the attitude, but switching sides isn’t going to make it better for them. They will still play the same way, drag down the team and end up in the same place.

Anyone who thinks that having access to certain guns is what wins it for a faction are grasping at straws. It you can’t hit your target first with a rifle, you won’t hit them first with a stg 44/PPD/mg42/fg42/dinner plate/bar or any weapon people call an I win button.

If you can, you won’t care what gun is in your hands, or what faction you are playing.
