Well, it’s more like already a Fyodorov’s automatic rifle, rather than a Fyodorov’s Automat, considering the Mosin cartridge.

As far as I remember, most, if not all Fyodorov’s Automat, including the one being in TT on 5 BR, could be reloaded with clips. Just like all SVT (38, 40) and AVT-40 rifles. The Gewehr 43 could also be reloaded with clips. And the ZH-29 could be reloaded with clips too.

I believe a low br Fedorov AR with lower rounds amount (10 or 15?) could be funny… with a twist! If those are reloaded with stripper clips. Low br full auto yes, with the great handling it already have, but lower reloading time because clips.
I would personally enjoy such an arm. Wouldn’t be overpowered this way, and at the same time, unique and fun to use.

(We already have weapons in TT that differ only because of their magazine sizes or ammunition belts, like beretta m38 and mg42 50 vs 100, even if 100 has veeeery slightly worse stats)
Very pretty, like the upcoming Mkb42 10/15-rd this one would be nice in BR3 as event weapon (for equalizing w/ Axis weapon).

Its bit tricky, with the ~13.9 dmg its ohk vs vitality. Unless some magic juice is applied and its OHK only at 20m like memeguerra at BR2, id say why not.
Otherwise its just automatic version overshadowing all SA rifles.
And in that case, if it was event reward like the mkb35? at br2 aka only 1 gun / event id say its fine.
Aka its fine as 13,9dmg if its extremely rare event reward.
Or little bit magic juice to even it out, for all I care it could even be TT weapon.

It would have high damage yes…
But if it’s only reloadable by stripper clips, it could be a nice tradeoff I think.
You could full auto burst of doom, but would have to think twice before spraying because reloading time could come bite you back.
A bit like the g41. I’m one of the rare few who enjoy that one even though it’s considered to be the worst br3 semi: it forces me to think before cutting that corner and unloading my rifle.

I thought it didn’t matter if a weapon is rare? You complained about the fact that the Soviet TT SMGs aren’t better than guns that will never be available to the public again, in any way, shape or form, but now it’s important that the tank is rare? That sounds like hypocrisy to me
My understanding is thats how the reloaded them anyway, as they wouldnt have had the spare magazines as it was just a surplus weapon out of storage
Would have allowed the federov to be a lower BR originally.
Other stuff that comes to mind is Enfields/turners have box detach mags, but stripper clip reload In Enlisted

Fedorov was always supposed to be a crazy recoil BAR/Chauchat kind of BR2 early war weapon.
