Battlefield Voiceover Mod by Veekay45 — v6 Far East Edition

Description

This mod adds new voiceovers for the following languages:

  • Russian (male and female, + RO2 lines related to the Katyusha rocket strike)
  • German (+ RO2 lines related to the Nebelwerfer rocket strike)
  • British English (+ occasional voices of soldiers from Australia and N. Ireland)
  • American English
  • Italian
  • Japanese (+ “Banzai” lines from CoD WaW)
  • French (+ currently unused lines for partroopers/artillery call-ins, for mods)

Numerous cringe phrases like “Die, little rat” or “Better you than me” have been replaced with more realistic calls for help/ammo/screams/intense battle cries.

Known issue:
Teammate voice lines via the chat wheel are missing the radio effect (if anyone knows a tool for adding a radio effect to thousands of files – please let me know).

hello, is there a gdrive link for this mod to dl on? the sandbox website kept having a 504 gateway crash on me

Only tried your mods just quickly on the shooting range, but what i heard so far, much much better than the original voice lines, especially the german ones (me being austrian, the original lines sounded so cringe). Thanks!

Two tings that bother me:

  1. The voicelines are very quiet compared to the original ones
  2. The german voiceline “Ist ein Mechaniker in der Nähe? / Is a mechanic somwhere?” when you give your troops to hold / defend a position

That’s funny, some people (myself included) believe the new ones are a bit too loud.

This should happen only when you press the “hold position” button on some sort of buildable structure like ammo box or sandbags, as it’s ordering the bots to disassemble it.

For me already noticeable at the beginning of a round, i hear others very quiet when they yell around.

Tbh, i´ve never payed attention if a structure is there. shame

You can try ordering them to hold positions in the practice range.

Shouldn’t call for a mechanic unless there is a structure to dismantle.

As Gaijin continues to actively ruin their ‘WW2 game’, this timy by adding even more Chinese squads to the Soviet faction, my old mod which replaced Chinese voicelines with English is no longer relevant.

Since the last thing I want to experience in a WW2 game is hearing Chinese language everywhere from Stalingrad to Normandy and Tunisia, I went out of my way to research and make a mod for yet another language.

Historical info

The Eastern Front (Moscow, Rzhev, Stalingrad, Berlin)
Polish presence in the Red Army was a historical reality rooted in centuries of shared Slavic heritage within the Russian Empire. Ethnic Poles were deeply integrated into the Soviet military fabric, with bilingual persons like Konstanty Rokossovsky and Felix Dzerzhinsky being prominent Soviet leaders long before official ethnic Polish divisions were formed in the USSR. By 1945, the Polish First Army was a massive force; their T-34-85s carried the White Eagle into Berlin, and the Polish flag was the only foreign banner allowed atop the Victory Column alongside the Soviet flag.

The Western & Mediterranean Fronts (Normandy, Ardennes, Tunisia)
On the Western Front, Polish units were spearheads under British operational command. The 1st Armored Division was instrumental in closing the Falaise Pocket in Normandy, while the 1st Independent Parachute Brigade fought heroically at Arnhem. In the deserts of Tunisia, battle-hardened Polish troops then played a key role in the final stages of the North African campaign, including the push through Tunisia and later the victory at Monte Cassino.

The Global Struggle (Manchuria & Pacific)
Polish mathematicians cracked the Enigma code, providing the Allies with the vital intelligence needed to win the war. This struggle reached even the Far East, where some Polish specialists reportedlyserved in Britain’s “Force 136” during the jungle warfare in Burma, while ethnic Poles within Soviet ranks participated in the Manchurian Strategic Offensive of 1945.

The weapons

While the Chinese weapons can not be changed, try to imagine:
Liu rifle => Kbsp wz.38M
image
Fake PPSh (S) or Sichuan SMG/Thompson => Błyskawica SMG

Name Surname
Jan Kowalski
Stanisław Nowak
Józef Wiśniewski
Tadeusz Wójcik
Stefan Kowalczyk
Władysław Kamiński
Franciszek Lewandowski
Antoni Zieliński
Kazimierz Szymański
Zygmunt Woźniak
Marian Dąbrowski

Modding potential

The file can be easily disabled if a Chinese mod or event requires Chinese voices back.

The Polish voiceocer mod opens many possibilities for modders to use it in their Polish forces mods for Enlisted.
Feel free to use it and tag me in your mod links

Enjoy!

I mean, Darkflow is abandoning the idea of historical accuracy. But at the same time, this game gets to live a little bit longer, which makes that an acceptable trade in my books.

This mod will be one of the items on my support list, I will notify any updates that would break this mod in here.
