I play on the Soviet side in Stalingrad. Sometimes I get beat up by an incredibly good group of German players.
In other campaigns, such as Allies at Normandy, I start the game prepared for the disadvantage, but in Stalingrad, I expect to play EZ game, so the shock of getting beat up is endless.
