I’m actually really angry about the sniper brs. How does adding a scope suddenly make it a higher br? That happens no where else for any other nation.
(I checked the #4 is br3 too, even though it and the smle without scope is br2)
Here’s how they justify this:
The standard rifles are BR 2 and are strip loaded.
The sniper variants cannot be loaded by stripper clips, therefore the only options are mag load or one by-one. They decided the mag load would I guess be more fun to play with? And they say the quicker reload side effect makes it BR 3
Why not? The scope on smle is off to the side. Don’t think I’ve ever noticed that before though on the #4

BR2 Bolt actions with a scope should drop to BR1 when their clip reload speed is blocked by said scope
Lee Enfield Sniper is BR3 because it has a magazine reload
Like detachable mag? Or just sliding clips up through the mag? If it’s sliding clips up i still don’t see how that raises the br

Yes detachable magazines, full quick mag reload. Lee Enfields actually could be reloaded with magazines - its just that infantry didn’t really get spare mags, a specialist like a highly trained sniper however is a different story.
An argument could be made that BR3 is still too high for that gun, but I personally am really impressed by that gun.
Definitely one of the best feeling snipers in game. Just had never really noticed the mag exchange before and been ages since i last used one. Thanks for the info
