( to be honest, since tomorrow i will be at home, i’ll make 10 soviet matches and see the results )
since i haven’t played this game from days.
this would create more unbalance. but at the same time, soviet life shouldnt be easier with xp boosters… it’s really a complicated situation. because in order for the soviet to be/do good, they need players. and you can’t force people to join one faction.
From what I’ve seen so far, Soviets are losing games due to the lack of players. Germans don’t really stand a chance in a full player vs player squad game due to their inferior weapons and also because Soviets have so much more options as defenders in two of the 3 game modes currently available. But I find German players to be more coordinated and skillful(no offence to the pros out there, just my obs.), therefore the advantages should essentially cancel out atleast for the CBT. The changes can be reverted back to normal once OBT is out.
It benefits both sides equally and no one is forcing anyone to join one side. The choice, play strictly for one side and gain EXP for that side or randomise the choice and gain EXP for both sides. I don’t know about others, I wouldn’t mind using ‘Join any team’ of I can gain EXP for both.
Again, I don’t think these incentives have to carry over to OBT or release version. What I am suggesting is strictly for CBT as not to lose what you would consider a small player base. Especially at this stage of development when you need players to test and spot issues within the game.
I’ve personally stopped playing the game, balance being a minor reason but mostly due to the lack of communication from devs and I find the game very repetitive. But I’ve seen plenty of people dropping out due to unbalance and skewed win rate and ahem…ahem… premium squads.
No way. If winning doesn’t matter, why bother trying to do that when you can just farm points? The game is already full of hopefully unintentional incentives for players to cheese as much as possible. You don’t want that to also be the most effective way to progress.
I thought you typo’d as your sentence wouldn’t make sense otherwise. I thought you ment unbuffing. Because why would their winrate go down if their guns did more damage, making them not two shot?
You realize the only way Russia wins is if they kill enough of the enemy team before they lose every point?
AFKing in a corner on the objective doesn’t win invasion. Pushing ahead and creating a body count so the German team is more concerned with killing you than capping is how you win invasion.
General area denial down the main avenues towards it is best, yeah.
Though in some spots the german spawn wraps around 2 sides of the map so it’s tricky.
I´m not sure what do you mean, perhaps engineers are responsible for it? I often try to build spawn points in flanking possitions but I never really noticed main german spawns literaly wrapping invasion objective like that.
At the 2nd and maybe 3rd point, Germany spawns in trenches which are out of bounds for Russia, and those trenches wrap around the objective.
My halfassed attempt at drawing it. Russian spawn is the blue line, the red is rougly the objective, and the green line is the German spawn. More often than not, the entire Russian team is watching the left trench while Germans are coming out of the right side as well.
Admittedly looks better from the map, but from the ground it’s deceiving to the defenders.
Edit expanding on it more: if you’re on the Russian side, you either spawn in the single trench acting to funnel you up into a crossfire, or you spawn in the middle of a field and instantly get mowed down by machine guns.
