These are some small but important changes that could really impact the game.
First we need footsteps on tanks. I’d like to be able to pop out when I hear a soldier walking on my tank trying to place a tnt charge. That way I could turn around and shoot them. On that note…
Tank commanders should be able to look in a full 360 view while using their personal weapon.
Meleeing with a bayonet or knife needs to be easier. I somehow miss while in range and pointing directly at them. Then after I try again the bot will perfectly stab me. It shouldn’t be this hard, I also shouldn’t phase through enemies while charging them.
I think there should be an indicator when your blocked by something right in front of you. Sometimes I shoot my cover instead of my target.
Please fix the respawning and death screen UI. I’m sick of waiting 2 seconds to swap to a random bot that’s alive but dies as soon as I take control. The wait is too long and the person I take over can’t even be chosen on the screen before I take over a new bot. I’ve tried clicking and it won’t change a thing.
Finally, we might want better UI, I understand they just changed it but it’s even weirder than before. My friends I’m trying to get into Enlisted complain because the UI is confusing. It’s worse on controller.
Already exists. I can hear them no problem. Also, when you hear footsteps that are far more audible than others, its enemies, not friendlies.
They are standing in a fixed position. The spine doesn’t turn 360 degrees.
Personally I would like to see a short animation similar to how Battlefield does it.
Knives should take a couple moments to complete
Bayonet CHARGES should have a faster animation
Shovels have a slower animation
Axes, swords, katanas, should have the fastest animations
*IF you have the melee perk, it should give a different animation all together, which is faster version for all.
(This would make melee feel a lot more satisfying overall as well as making hits register better.)

I’ve noticed this occurs on occasion. Usually I’m allowed to switch instantly.
There are definitely issues that need to be resolved.
No, sadly in the xray view it doesn’t show the setup of the interior itself, only crew members and VITAL parts. The large majority of the tanks you would not be able to turn around quickly, if at all.
It usually sounds like someone walking through tall grass or something. Kinda hard to describe. It doesn’t sound like footsteps on metal, which could definitely be addressed.
Enemy footsteps have a VERY distinct sound in comparison with friendly footsteps.
I somewhat disagree, I like the “jankie” chaos of melee combat in this game. There have been so many times where I get into a tense close quarters moment and me and the other guy are jumping and jiving around stabbing at each other fighting for survival. It’s actually fun. It feels like that knife scene from Saving Private Ryan.
I can almost say I think melee is fine as is. If anything they can nerf the AI a little bit
I don’t think tankers inside could hear people walking on top of their tank, especially when engine is running (it’s pretty loud in that metal box).
As for tank commander looking through cupolla - yeah, I prefer to be able use the C button to look around, rather than mouse wheel to switch the view ports.
we all could just press “enter” button or use the same order/button to swap inf during alive condition, maybe just make devs encourage adding more hints(!) to players when loading or player can just open manuals in “Esc” button, make hints avail on that panel area to help lack knowledge ppls
