SITREP №2 - The Hype Awakens

yep, personally i much prefer buffing a weapon to keep it in its current BR over downtiering it, unless the gun can’t be saved even with buffs

Wow exacly the Veekay response I thought you would give. We need to make this a drinking game or something

Unexpected right?

The same things I liked/wanted in the game back in 2020, I’ll also like/want in 2026!

Still no mention of map/mode selector.

Who asks for this? Devote your devs’ energy to actual balance.

Very disingenuous remark. You don’t show more seasons because you don’t have the dev power to do so. Simple as that. Don’t act as if player feedback actually matters. Justice for Scotti and Solothurn!

You know what’s better? Devs actually play their game and qa test their events, not just play one game and call it a day. I wonder how many devs actually finish the whole Market Garden and zombie event battlepass.

Haha

So we are literally back to 3-4 years ago? Why nerf prone in the first place?

We want actual transparency, that is, give us insight into all the terrible balance changes, reskin additions, and terrible events. Or give us actual promises and a roadmap. This is just not enough to generate “hype”

The problem is that its server side problem, and it can not be reproduced at will by the client

The building seems to be seelow fachwerk house. Such buildings would not be found in Karelia but it could be Caucasus or France. Sadly it will not be Manchuria

They need a low BR Machinegun squad badly

It’s very frustrating to keep reading this kind of criticism again and again, even just as a regular player of the game. I don’t even want to imagine what it must feel like to read things like that repeatedly as someone who actually works on the project. An update comes out with several positive aspects, and yet people only highlight the negative ones. Even when a question about a new idea is asked, the reply is often snappy instead of providing reasonable feedback.

I believe criticism is important and necessary, but it should be a bit more constructive.

Personally, I find many announcements very well done and extremely interesting. What I’m really curious about are the updates regarding the statistics. Will the statistics in the Battle Results after each match also be improved?

I personally record all my games in a Google Sheet and try to do it as accurately as possible. However, it often happens that I receive a Battle Hero award like “Best Rifleman,” but my rifle eliminations don’t show up in the summary with the icons and numbers. It’s quite frustrating when I know I scored many kills with a bolt-action rifle, yet the statistics still show zero.

Not to be a dick, but this goes for you as well. Like I don’t disagree with you, but your not being very constructive either.

Remember the hamburger method, first possitive, then feedback, then possitive again.

Starting with ‘its very frustrating’ is not a good opener.

idk why people are being exited over the literal definition of creating an issue, and then solve it as if it’s an increadible feat.

i’m not here to be toxic or anything but like:

another “soon” :tm: with no meaningful insight or actually explain the heck is even about.
i swear, if this part wasn’t included, not many people would have bat an eye.

because this is the definition of " an announcement of a soon tm "

wow, PNG that modders were able to import, and something that should have been way longer in the game than customization it self. the same pngs that have been sitting in the game files from ages.

… now?

don’t get me wrong, i love those.
but making it an actual point ? and making it out to be greater than it actually is
ehh…

guess i can apreciate at least the poll to know if peeps wants more decals or no.

… even though seeing T34s with german crossings in soviet service is weird.
could be funny in LF though.

but makes anyone wonder why only such polls for a single topic rather than frequent.

which it’s ironic considering the sitrep were supposed to be about communication.

yet nothing much between the first and second sitrep.

can’t wait having to play 300 battles for a single non reusable american white star.
but that’s more of a nitpick of mine.

… even though everyone else asked for decals to be buyable through silver ( main nations ones anyway )
whats wrong with that.

why does it have to be coded behind some sort of challenge that requires times and have prone to be more complicated than it has to.

it’s just unecessary when again, you could make buyable from silver rather than gold.

cool.

i surely needed seeing funny numbers to go up and feel better about my self for totally non toxic and bragging sessions with other " like minded " individual.

thanks i guess.

ah yes,

" hey timmy, you know what you complaint about? and gave plenty of suggestions about? we’ll, we’ll do something alright. but nothing of what you actually ( and only partially follow through ) what you asked about. "

all to say, premium squads deficiency were perks, but not just that.
yet you don’t see any OTHER mentions of it.
like, being able to issue uniforms to others squads because of buying the squad, no ability to change some of the squad composition, or fixing older premium squads.

same went with the turn rate of the UK jet.
let’s touch the pay load instead.
… as if it would change something.

while being “cool” and for real this time.

still doesn’t addresses of even aknowledges the mismatching sets, missing pouches, and tons of other issues with the customization.

how convenient isn’t it.

because being able to buy stuff that is already limited but forced in having to buy it twice or more across campaigns that have the share items ( or like faces, bering more egregious )

not a single word either.

yeah, crazy concept although, kinda funny that had to be mentioned.

" they play the game. "

strange how some of the decisions reflected otherwise.

all to conclude with,

idk what hype are we looking for in here fellas.

just standard content that one came to expect, or got tired of waiting for across a span of few years.

saddest part is,

customs didn’t get a single word mention.

you know, modding.
the stuff that actually provided content for this game among the long and exhausting dead times between update.

yeah, let’s have none of that because it doesn’t bring any monetary gain.

guess i have been a bigger fool for not actually realizing it sooner

with that being said, i guess we take PR statements over deafening silence any day.

EDIT.
although the rest is nice.
no arguments over that.

This is very nice, I quite like this idea. Would it be possible that, if this system is implemented, it could be used with other decals as well? I think being able to grind for decals would get players to be more interested in them rather than just paying for them, considering how many there are.

This sounds really nice, quite excited for these changes.

Italy? I really hope it’s Italy and not another France map.

Well since you quoted me, personally I’m neutral towards the “positives” presented here.

I don’t really care about stats or inviting friends to custom games.

But the stuff that I do care about like T-28 in Berlin or Volkssturm in Tunisia is still not being addressed at all.

And McD is even suggesting that we allow Japanese decals on Soviet tanks in Stalingrad - like what are they even smoking there?

i think his main point was that they are already doing better by asking for community feedback on this point. So, you can just vote no without being negative I think.

And seeing the vote, we will probably not see Jap symbols on Soviet vehicles that were build in the UK.

After some light research I haven’t found any evidence of any Meteor F being able to mount 500 lb G.P. Mk.IV bombs…
The hardpoints for bombs on the Meteor F has two hooks, the Mk.IV only has one lug, meaning the bomb will be unstable if mounted:

Meaning the bomb you replaced it with should be incompatible with the Meteor’s hardpoints

I looked at the trees, and to be honest, it kinda could be Manchuria, southern France or Sicily. The rocks in combination with the trees actually really looks like some pictures I found of Manchuria.

However, the house indeed looks like a German building. So, most likely its in Europe.

Yeah true, we find that type of house only on Normandy, Bulge and Berlin

Sicily don’t look like this btw

Replacing the powerful one thousand pounds with the powerless five hundred pounds is equivalent to removing the jet from TT and forcing people to purchase the F80, otherwise they will be easily killed by TigerIIh and 800kg bombs.
Meteors are indeed very powerful, whether in aerial combat or dropping bombs, but in a sense, this is also “historical accuracy” (for the sake of balance, should we take away Tiger IIh’s AP?)
In addition, besides the BR5, please also pay attention to the fact that the BR3.Ki100 has significantly stronger firepower and an “extremely important” turn time. The P51 is indeed faster, but the engine overheating is very severe, so the actual performance advantage is not obvious. By the way, similar fighter jets from the Soviet Union were used in the 5br
