If you spot a plane about to strafe you and youre in a tank, and dont have premium so dont have fighter. You hide? Yes you hide from a plane, that is the best counter, play hide n seek with a tank
How would a āskillful tankerā be able to prevent himself from getting easily blown up by rockets or bombs from a pilot who actually uses his brain? Thereās literally nowhere to hide in which rockets/bombs cant reach. The only way to not get instantly killed would be to hide between trees, even then you can still see the muzzle flash of the cannon and the mg firing.
Unless you are some kind of seer that can predict the exact moment in which the pilot isnt looking at your direction, the pilot will get your location when you shoot. This isnt counting infantry marking your tank which nullifies your supernatural ability.
Thatās why the moment I found out that rockets destroy tanks Ive been using allied planes and also pretty much stopped using axis tanks (Normandy), you can one shot any tank from the puma to the panther with your rockets even with the P38G1 and quite easily too.
