Selling legacy squads and how ot would work

Before the merge, each campaign had different squads for different roles, but after the merge most of those squads were lost, and now have became legacy squads, but many old and new players want them back, and I think I’ve came up with a idea on how they could return.

Introduce the squad sale section

This section would be part of the store tab and would be only full of legacy squads for that nation which you don’t have, for example, if you select german, it would show both legacy german and Italian squad you can get.

How much would they cost

These squads sold for 10,000 silver, and while I would personally prefer they be sold for 10,000 silver, that ain’t happening with our “beloved” devs. So the best would be either 20,000 silver or 15,000 silver.

Why shouldthis be implemented

  1. It will encourage players to grind more games ro get these squads

  2. It will attract new and old players

  3. I coukd increase the sales in gold bought by those whi don’t want to grind for it.

  4. It can help those who like to play as sub-factions get more squads

With those reasons listed, I now ask you guys amd gal’s, if you support this idea or not.

It has been said many times that these squads will never return. Are you actively pushing the developers not to keep their word?

Let’s not even get into the fact that literally nothing in the game sells for 50% of its original price.

Very similar to my idea, written shortly before the Forum’s Suggestion “reform”. Naturally, I support.

Another important thing to consider, as a follow-up to creating a seperate “squad” tab in the shop, are some of the things I listed in my suggestion:

well my thought was more on them promising to add HA mode in customs, nerfing p47 etc.
there are many examples where they backtracked on decisions.

Yes, but let’s not forget it’s gaijin.

Instead of 20k, make that 1,000k. Per squad.

Would probably align more with how they are, thus giving it more chance to be considered… eh.

I’m not even joking. The jokes are all those who sold those priceless squads for 10k only :smiley:

They would have to sell them for a lot more…with the new BP today, i climbed 10 rank points and 4 levels of BP making 40k in silver in the process. The collector Premium squads are essentially Legacy and they sell for 1000’s of gold. I think old event squads and Legacy collectibles should be for purchase. I’ve wasted 14+ million in silvert on the chests…would rather just buy.

Lucky. I had 1 beer and then played 4 rounds, couldn’t hit a damn thing. I’ve never played so bad (and my teammates weren’t any better). I think i got like 6k battle score over 4 games lol. It’s gonna be a grind tomorrow to hit the 25k target

Oh, my matches were infurating as it was a REAL challenge to win. Watch teamates run the opposite direction than the objective on the map is mind boggling. I just wish we could grind all levels of the event…hit my 25k earlier to win NOTHING…and would be 600 gold if I missed it, just stupid.

Yeah, i finished yesterday with like 23k and had to stop to go watch hockey. So i missed that level. The saboteur format was THE best. Between x and y date, get score. For each z amount of score trade it in for a prize. :person_shrugging:

Also, yeah. Never is it more clear than when you’re in a plane and see the defensive zone starts getting capped and you dive in to unload bombs and strafe and can CLEARLY see every single friendly triangle 40m from the cap border :face_vomiting:

The amount of times i just kill myself to get back on the ground because no one is doing anything…

I enjoy having all the legacy squads (and 430+ squads total). I enjoy being able to run presets with 11 squad slots of Italy and Commonwealth!

Mostly it’s nice to not need to mess with individual squads to play many BR’s (except Japan).

I think everyone should be able to have either legacy squads or some new equivalent if they want them! That said, earning them should require some effort - like an amount of research points equivalent to what they were back in the day (or something like that). Lots of grind to level them all.

There could just be a legacy squad research tab for each nation where you could choose a squad to research (once done with the entire research tree) and grind.

Dev’s want people playing the game - giving the option to grind for extra squads seems like it would be interesting in that regard.

I agree with this one. Legacy squads available via research points AFTER completing not just the last tier, but literally every item (besides premium…) in the TT for that nation. Still possible to get, but it’s an investment for die-hards.

So your saying that they could be put in the research tree, but would cost more experience then the other things the the research tree? That could work

No. I suggest they are a separate research tab available after grinding research tree. At some effort cost similar to what they were (or even what squads are now). Something like that. I. Didn’t put a lot of thought into it TBH.
