Second testing of the "Scorching Rays" update

Historical accuracy for you (Germans/Italians/Japan) but Fantasy accuracy for me (USA/USSR). Such selective favourism will only lead to game’s even faster decay. I’m tired of devs and certain players bias.

They want to eat entire buffet by themselves (while being overweight) but give nothing for others that are just starving and lying on the floor begging for scraps.

And with such a beautiful logic like that there’s only so many of us German and Japanese veterans left before they’ll be sitting at the table all by themselves but at this current moment in time we will outlast them because we’re just stubborn but it doesn’t mean we’re immortal we will die eventually.

I know about that, but I play with three friends who are all on PC…. That’s the main problem, I only play this game with friends usually. I don’t know why they haven’t added it yet, or why they’ve not said anything about it.

I wonder why such is the case

I got a different feedback, that I was reminded about in another thread

With what appears to be another paratrooper squad on the way.

Please make the soviet Customisable Paratroopers standard for ALL paratrooper Archtype. Unique guns shouldnt be forced on a squad essentially locking them…Keep them as BP or event standalone weapons.

I would LOVE to equip paras “properly” as they are ICONIC Elite units


also you have made an un necessary “grass is greener” point of contention by doing this in the first place…fueling the fire between faction mains


Since merge (even ramping up before) you have been systematically killing off Assymetry in favour of 1 for 1 balance.

There is nothing to stand on with keeping such a potent/desirable faction unique…same with body armor.

Especially when you have added TT prototypes, Borrowed TT enemy weapons and added post war equipment to make up Faction weaknesses/blind spots. Robbing other faction uniques in the process…All in the name of “balance”

Its even gone so far its putting players that play all factions offside (because they use and compare everything), not just mains

Here is my feedback and opinion:

I really appreciated the addition of new customization options, especially for the MP40 squad with silencers. The work done on them is really great!
Small issue: having MP40 magazine pouches on the uniforms would have been a good idea…

Thanks for adding the Churchill to the British squad :slight_smile:
Now the upgrades also need to be available with this squad.

Otherwise, the rest doesn’t really interest me. I don’t play in higher BR anymore, so I don’t have an opinion on the current topics (scotti…)…
I just hope the Russian grenade launcher unit will be set at BR5 so it won’t spam grenades in BR3 matches…

Finally, I would have appreciated more additions like new APCs, new vehicle insignias (iron cross, white star, red star, etc.). But not now :frowning:
I’m eagerly looking forward to the return of loot boxes (I’ve got over 1.6 million silver just sitting around hahaha!).

I think you are the only one that disagrees with this - however I give you credit because your reasoning makes sense.

Not everything needs to be the same, BUT Fedorov is the better AVT - because of bigger mags, and thus it is justified at being limited to assaulters.

This Scotti should be better than FG42 for being limited to Assaulters, which it clearly isnt.

Sure, if you think a 15 rounder can stay that way because that would make it rather unique, but then it should have other stats that make up for that.

Fedorov is not really better than the AVT 20 tho , you get 5 extra rounds sure but AVT deal more damage , better muzzle velocity , less deviation and you can equip it on everyone , i stopped using the Fedorov when they added the AVT 20 which is in my opinion the best SF rifle in the game right now .

Exactly. That’s why I use AS for variety. Fedorov is just a worse SF, nothing unique or stronger. At least AS feels like an assault rifle.

AVT-40 20 kills faster than Fedorov but it’s harder to control and use at mid ranges, but still it’s the most well all rounder SF rifle in a game completely beating other rifles.

Fedorov doesn’t really make sense outside of fighting at shotgun distances as most of the time you still need two shots to kill anyway and AS-44 does it with ease while being way more accurate. Only thing that are worse on AS-44 is that it can down people (instead of killing) more often than Feddy.

I should finally build fully decked AT-40 20 rifleman squad with perfect perks because right now they have just vertical perks.
