Sd.Kfz.251/1 MG issue

I had a concern with the Pz.Kpfw. 24 (panzergranadier squad) MG mounting I wanted to note: the weapon (7.92 mm MG42 machine gun) overheats in almost 3 second flat, and takes a whopping 10 seconds to cool back down. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels like we need our awesome devs to tweak this (two suggestions at the end)

My reasoning:
1.
Besides feeling historically inaccurate, it makes the vehicle all but useless for it’s intended role as a combat vehicle. While it’s still able to serve as an APC, we need it to be more “combat-worthy”. (Increasing the speed just a tiny bit could be nice too; its pretty slow)
2.
Although equal in almost every other way, the MG isn’t equal to the weapons on the other [armed] APC’S in the game. Allow me to elaborate.
The United States’ LVT-4 amphibious transporter/fire-support vehicle is, understandably, intended to be better-armed. But all the same, the primary weapons – two 12.7 mm M2HB machine guns – take almost four times as long to overheat and cool a bit faster.
Japan’s Type-1 Ho-Ra infantry vehicle (which is incredibly similar to the Sd.Kfz.251/1, for the record) is equipped with a 7.7 mm Type-97 machine gun for it’s primary weapon. While the machine gun only fires continuously for 3 seconds, it is simply reloaded, and only takes a tiny bit less than 4 seconds to do so.

However, I also understand why it might have been designed this way. The MG-42 possesses a much greater rate of fire, whilst still maintaining good accuracy.
 My suggestions are as follows

☆ decrease the cooldown time by at least 2 to 3 seconds (no matter what, I think that’s one thing that’s needed),
☆ increase the time of firing by 1 to 3 seconds, and retain the rate of fire. (If the time of fire is increased by more than 2.1 seconds, it might be in favor of keeping things fair to decrease the accuracy a smidge)
☆ lower the rate of fire a bit (note that this could possibly prove problematic in the historical accuracy) and increase firing time before overheat, or
☆ whatever the devs think is best.

i dont know about all the guns but i am betting the german gun has the biggest magazine
meaning it spends the least amount of time reloading (if wrong i apologize)
if correct i would be in favor of buffing overheating if they decrease magazine size rather than making it more accurate by ‘nerfing’ the fire rate

The mag size is 3000 rounds (which is historically accurate). So, I absolutely agree with not having a long continuous fire rate. But I still feel we should get a little bit more than just 3 servings of firing time.

We also need the thing to have a greater angling option.

Duplicate suggestion of Remove overheat from APCs since both are related to APC overheat, closed
