Really needs some updates for AI, and various broken weapons and mechanics - I hope we get to see them and test them a bit before any open testing.
another thing I have noticed, the germans win all the time, very wierd lol
is becoming really annoying you can’t play with RUssia, it’s impossible to win. perhaps I should stop playing and just wait for the next update see what happens.

Like I said, the Germans win all the time because they were the more popular from the getgo.
Because they’re the more popular from the getgo, they have the higher level players as well as more premium squads, which caused the winrate to first tilt in their favor.
Because the winrate tilted in their favor, it discouraged some Russia mains from continuing to play, and attracted tryhards who want an easy win to main Germany
Because of the experienced Russia players who stopped playing and the increased number of tryhards on the German team, it further lowered the Russian winrate, bringing us back to repeat steps 2 and 3 indefinitely.
The solution to this is to put an end to 1v1 queues by implementing a War Thunder type matchmaking system, which can be done by changing to year-based campaigns: Base campaigns on years
FWIW I play Russians because this is a test - and it needs players to play both sides to get data.
It had better be useful or I’ll be persisted!! (and sure it is more fun to win, but that’s not the purpose of playing for me)
If you just treat it like a game then yeah, you’d only ever play to win and that means playing Axis.
I’ve always been an anti-meta hipster, despising the easy-win strategies and everyone who uses them (if I could start a community-wide blacklist of every MP-41 user, I would go further and throw in people who’ve unlocked the Panzer III but still use the II), so I use Russia even though I would rather use Germany if the player bases were equal.
Well this will be fixed so no problem, but overall is a very nice build game, it has great potential and is just CBT so before release it should be alright. I will continue to play and if they need support I would support them, financially as in if they will have a shop etc items for your squad.
That would be asuming the devs plan on fixing it.
They haven’t fixed it in the past half year, so why would they do so while they are working hard on making Normandy as fucked as Moscow so they can earn money off it and push the game to OBT?
And Gaijin has a history of wasting potential.
War thunder could be bigger than world of tanks, but it is not
Crossout could have been the mainstream build/fight game, but it never was and is dying already.
I myself honestly can not recommend Enlisted in it’s current state to my friends or fellow content creators.
They are not dumber, their weapons are just weaker

Your rifles still do more damage and overal are the best weapons to equip AI with.
when I say weapons, I mean SMG’s which are mostly used on these small maps. Also my rifles do more damage but reload in normal speed (except winchester, that thing is broken lol). I do play both sides and I can see the problem. Most players who only play one side think it is just the playerbase, but weapons are a much bigger factor and making the maps larger will fix this. Also, you don’t have to say your rifles, I don’t want to take sides
Reload/cycle speeds don’t matter much with current AI aggro gain rates. They will never fire the rifle at max rate of fire after all.
Even so, rifle doesn’t rule the battlefield in Enlisted, SMG does
Depends whether you want the AI to get kills, or you yourself to get kills.
Giving all your soldiers a rifle secondary helped me at least, as the AI prefers to select the secondary weapon.
Before last wipe I could have my squad to get like 15 kills in addition to my own kills
I have also seen that AI’s armed with automatic weapons get more kills, in the current meta, rifle lacks behind.
Squad can get a lot of kills if the enemy team doesn’t stand a chance. I, myself get more squad kills with full MP40 squad compared to 0 squad kills when using the NKVD squad
I guess that can be because of vitality perk, and nerf of bolt actions for assaulters (can only take 1907/G33 now, so effectively a 18>14.5(? forgot exact upgraded damage on G33 etc) nerf). They could oneshot enemies before, now they can’t
I think all long rifles should oneshot and shorter ones (mosin carbine and G33) should have more RoF but lower damage on distances
I think all should oneshot (torso) at short range, with the long ones remaining that damage over longer range (higher velocity so the damage reduction over range is less, don’t give them more raw damage to keep enough damage to torso oneshot as that would allow it to oneshot on other body parts) as tradeoff for rate of fire.
