It is possible to issue automatic rifles only to fighters,and to the rest of the classes(engineers,radio operators, etc.) only semi-automatic rifles.

what i meant, is that with this system i can have 8 automatic people with just the enginner squad.

If we were in a more realistic ww2 setting there would be similar numbers of automatic weapons, with every squad having a couple smgs and lmgs each, to say nothing of late war Germany with stg44’s everywhere…
But as for “no one wants so many automatics”, I’d disagree, what with others in this thread advocating for the opposite, and from my observations, it doesn’t seem to me most people have an issue with automatics to the degree you do.

in a more realistic ww2 setting you would have the majority of bolt action rifle and semi auto. kinda like what enlisted is somewhat about and was about until the introduction of weapons for everyone.
( that almost everyone disliked so much, that apparently people still make threads about it ).
but enlisted should not be taken for realism. because it’s not.
it all comes to simple common sense of gameplay balance.
having few automatic weapons =/= all automatic weapons are similar.
this system cannot work.

and therefore the stg will be nerfed.

maybe because since the alpha we actually complained about automatic weapons, and until at some point, they got somewhat limited than before.
and as far as i can recall from other posts. i can see that people still don’t like them.
they are just tired to reapt what i’m currently doing under every post.

In the system that is now, it is simply impossible to reasonably limit automatic rifles…
exept, people have to somewhat archieve that level before being able to give almost everyone fg and stuff like that.
with this suggestion, everyone would get acees right on instant the ability to get automatic weapons.

I don’t think we need more classes than we already have, and think it would be better to just rework what we have already.

Darkflow has more bilingual and english-native staff members than Gaijin proper, and Keofox as well as members of the dev team do read the english suggestions area on a semi-regular basis - though they rarely reply. (it does happen, occasionally though, where you’ll get a dev reply)
Edit; they also browse trending topics on the reddit and pop into the English chat of the Discord on rare occasion. It’s not a super-regular thing with the latter, but I’ve seen it.
The point is, Erika, that once the STG will be added there are one of two outcomes possible:
the STG will become a trooper weapon. I don’t want that.
The STG will become an Assaulter weapon, that means you can run 3 full squads of 4 guys each with an STG. I don’t want that.
I main germany, i know how bad the german playerbase plays, the devs giving them so many STGs will not help them get better.
German players in Berlin are worse than bots

but to be honest, having 4 stgs unlike 9 fgs… or like the op suggested here, 7 stgs to a squad it’s much worse.
so i rather have 4 stgs than many more.
Yeah, I suggested that a new class be added that take over using the heavier weapons like the STG, Fedorov or AS44, so that they had a more limited presence on the battlefield (1-3 Maximum in a Squad of 5 with STGs)
