Why all the wingeing? I play both sides and easily take out armour with infantry, no matter the tank. In grey zone? CAS rockets on both sides mince them up - no difference if it’s Jumbo or Tiger. Same will happen if Pershing/ Tiger II come in (though I would prefer more historical equipment for campaigns, the amount of unrealistic quantities of smg’s/LMG’s/MG’s on both sides is abhorrent and like some dodgy Yank war film…)

by the way, the germans had about 120-130 Tiger at Normandy within the first 2 weeks.
And if one can trust the numbers, those 120 Tigers took about 500+ US Tanks out…

I got both Axis and Allies maxed in Normandy and I can tell you: that statements false.
Especially considering the lvl at which you get to use it the Jumbo is the most broken piece of equipment you can think of.

Tiger tanks are not as scary as you think. My friends and I have tested them in custom mode. All tanks with 76mm caliber guns can kill Tiger tanks in one shot, as long as they hit both sides of the front of the hull, whether it is Firefly, M10 Wolverine or 76mm Sherman

Not even remotely compareable imo or what makes the Bf110G-2 so OP in your eyes?
Since you get it so early new players don’t know how to correctly perform with planes to get the best out of the BF110 while the Jumbo comes so early (mid campaign) that it meets enough low lvl opponents that equally don’t know how to deal with it.
The Panther on the other side is far from being compareably broken. At the endgame stage on which you’ll encounter Panthers on a regular basis you’ll have gathered a comprehension of the proper usage of planes as well as the Thunderbolt unlocked or at least the A-20 which both eat Panthers for breakfast.

bf110 has the effectiveness of the thunderbolt at level 4, i know this because it’s the only plane i use in normandy axis.
Also here is some cons of the jumbo; it’s ammo is m72 solid shot from war thunder so it has sub 100mm of penetration, it’s mobility is average, it’s sides can be overmatch by the pz4s and like panther it can and will be bombed by the ju-188 or can get rocketed by the 110g-2

Wrong, Tiger was actually used in Normandy, but it engaged british, not US troops…
So yeah, technically there is no place for it here as long as we won´t get proper british squads…
But then again, we already fell down to the very bottom of the pit by introducing FGs and Jumbo for everybody.

And get rid of the unrealistic M2 carbine and Jumbo.
And maybe limit the number of FGs per squad.

Agree. It should be replaced with Tiger II H to OHK jumbo, very balanced.
I meant non-premium squads.
For obvious reasons I do not count two premium squads as sufficient representation of Britain in Normandy.

? why lol that plane is good at one thing only, against infantry and the first 2 allied tanks, for a BF 110 is way harder to destroy a Jumbo or the first sherman, than it is for the pg 38 to destroy any german tank, even the panter, honestly you dont wanna speak about op planes if you are defending the allies of normandy thats so stupid honestly

uuuh, you really don’t use the 110g-2 do you? because that gun also fucks up planes EXTREMELY WELL and it can destroy the jumbo though the reason why it’s harder is because the rockets aren’t centerline, so it’s a bit dishonest to say the thunderbolt is OP without ever mentioning the 110
