Where’s the history that says a breasplate strapped to the front of the torso somehow protects your back as well, or your legs? Or any other part of the body?
you got it. it is WWII inspired game, not WWII game. it has been like that since they introduced various prototypes that were never in the war or since you could see moroccans in pacific or chinese in normandy. i dont accept any history argument that is heavily biased to one faction when there are multiple precedents of prototypes being introduced for balance purpose(and other nations had prototype armor).
like i said either remove body armor effect and keep it as just cosmetic or give everyone body armor and move it to equipment.

these armors should not be exclusive to the soviets only, if so then reduce its protection value, or completely remove it and keep it cosmetic only

I dont want body armor removed, i want it added to all nations,
i want lower time to kill (TTK) for infantry as tanks/air get more powerful
I want body armor with stanima/ speed malus and only available for assaulters/flamethrowers.
I want japanese/german/allied armor.
I want historical representation.
Instead we get this slop arguments about nerf soviets cause my SMG doesnt work.

so if devs state that this game is totally historical, then we should take it as a fact? this game was historical when it first came out with moscow campaign, but with every new level in campaigns, it got further away from historical. currently at best game can only claim that it is inspired by ww2 and not that it is ww2 historical game.

it is perfectly ok if game has few inaccuracies, but this goes way beyond it. devs for sake of balance put loads of prototype guns, imaginary tanks(ho ri) and time traveling planes in ww2(soviet jet). not to mention chinese squads at normandy or moroccan at pacific. this can never be called historical ww2 game.

No offense, but at this point it’s just comedic to watch. Every month or two the subject comes up again and nothing happens. Let’s be clear, they (the developers) know about this problem, they know and by now understand the community’s issue with it and just don’t or can’t be bothered to give a f. In all honesty, I doubt they even play the game themselves much anymore, maybe in customs made for themselves.
I’ve come to terms with it by now, and to be honest with how bad the recent updates have been in terms of content and quality, I am not sure I want them meddling in any more things. The connecting to game bug is still in game, just less frequent. We now have jeeps eating high calibre APHE for dinner. Just to name the most recent.
