Thats bit of a stretch considering we’re speaking of maps here.
I dont really think we even have a ww2 game to start with.
Its just arcade sandbox pewpew hero shooter with imaginary weapons set in ww2 atmosphere.
Dunno about all the reasons but id say the massive imbalance in many of the campaigns was indeed the reason.
There never was lack of soviets in moscow memeretta 20 vs ppsh41
And there never was lack of GE in berlin but soviet side was quite a bot farm.
So to keep it short the playerbase was quite much split on campaigns where theyr favorite faction had the advantage.
So id say the equipment imbalance played quite massive role in merge.
Sure il admit these are based on my personal experience of the game rather than on anykind of proven statistics.
Maybe the statistic wizard @robihr has statistics about pre-merge.
Yeah, the problem with the merge is that the que’s are also shared. The TT should have been universal, but the que kept seperate. Or something in that direction.
Or at least, I would have prefered that, I know Veekey might hate this idea
