A cheap saber is indeed a faction advantage, just like body armor, this is just a formal difference.
Does anyone mentioned that Japanese soldiers have smaller hitboxes due to their shorter height?

Indeed, whether it comes to firearms or vehicles, the USSR’s Victory Day in-game event is pretty underwhelming by comparison.

Yes so? Even If Germany was the only nation that would get to have sidearms - body armor is vastly more useful.

We can talk about swords being broken when the devs finally introduce the ability for your entire squad to charge along with you - but the bonus sprint speed is only ever useful when spawning fresh and moving to the battle field faster.

Every time I see people try to charge me with a sword I simply shoot him - or every time I see a soldier with a sword charge try to charge my tank, I also simply shoot him.

Its not that complicated, charging is vastly overrated in a game where you die to one or two bullets.

It is dishonest that anything non-Soviet is not fixed within the first few hours/days after it malfunctions, BR etc.Because the other Factions have to wait days, weeks, months, and even years to make that change The Russian jet had a problem when it was launched—it would turn on its own—and that problem was fixed quickly. But the FW 190 series has been broken for years. And it doesn’t get fixed. But they make excuses that War Thunder is like this. But it doesn’t cost them anything to fix the Soviet stuff.

Is that generally true? And if so, do they move slower in return?

They are indeed shorter, and I don’t know if there is a difference in their movement speed.
You know, what you see is only the movement animation, and the size of the steps is not related to the movement speed.

I think they moved at the same speed than the other nations

No they don’t, they run just as fast as the otter three factions iirc.

Looks nice.

That’s not the question.

The question was:

  • Where is the situation at.

Nothing to indicate they even took the time to look at it, as they ignored it. Voluntarily.

If polls are ignored, then what are their point?

germany mains cry non stop

That’s a fair point - arguments will never end, but I believe even if we did release stats, since people would argue what stats are more important, perceptions would still overrule stats in some eyes, and so on.

That also leaves out the negative effects of releasing win rates - it could adjust player behavior massively, making any imbalances worse (or competely reverse to the other side), and so on for other perception shifts about factions.

Body armor is of course just as a concept a sticking point for players, it’s understandable. Developers are looking at options. Though I’m surprised more players don’t use “best guesses” of win rates to possibly explain why there doesn’t seem to be any rush to adjust body armor with in-game effects.
