Interesting, the Spitfire was supposed to be useable by the 73 sq but apparently the 375th can also use it.

Do you really play those TT spitfires? Planes without CAS capabilities are totally worthless.
I wouldn’t say that. Spitfire is great when dealing with bombers and enemy planes. It gives lots of score during events

What plane isn’t?
You don’t need pure fighter with no CAS capabilities just to outmanoeuvre BR2 noobs.
The tradeoff is simply not worth it. And it’s not fun to just hang in the air, do nothing and wait for enemy plane/AI bombers to spawn.

I would appreciate them to finally fix hurricane. And stop pretending like it’s intended feature.
I removed planes from my BR2 British lineup a long time ago. Neither of them were really worth it. Up until now.

I wish I had unlocked that 71st fighter squadron.
As well as all the other squads from pre-merge times.
Back then I didn’t understand how the Merge was going to work.
I couldn’t imagine extra squads would make such a difference.

The 20mm cannons are really good against bombers and light armoured vehicles and the maneuverability is better than the other options. Of course this isnt warthunder so fighting other planes isnt the most important thing but i still use spitfires because they are just more fun to fly than p38 for an example. I would not be against if they got bombs or rockets in future updates but then they would have to be put in higher brs
I think it is pretty bad but atleast it has multiple forward facing guns that are also heavy mgs. The hydroplanes are far worse because they only have 1 machinegun and the speed doesnt let you climb to bomber altitude.

Well the VC/Trop has 4x20 mm cannons so its good you can make a lot of kills against BR II and BR I even BR III vehicles the problem is if the enemy is not spamming vehicles. But most of the time if you focus on killing planes, tanks and apcs you can have good score but the new spitfire made this one almost obsolete however is still better at dogfights and have more firepower. But there is no point running 2 spitfires now I prefer 2 lightings and the new spitfire.

I only use the Vc sometimes for fun.
But I hate flying around jobless when there are no enemy planes.
Yeah that’s annoying but there are several different planes that do the same, like the Meteor.
The hurricane is the most affected coz it’s the slowest of them.

I liked this event! The rewards are very fun. Very happy to Have the MK IX Spitty and the BF109 Z is quite fun and interesting (more interesting than it is in Warthunder). Thanks

And what is this odd thing on the front window of the 109?
Also, the pilot’s view to the left is worse than to the right, while the pilot sits at the center.
Same thing as the premium 262 perhaps, which I believe was said to be an error?

Looking at this thing, it does not follow the shape of the window.
If it were etched in the glass, it would be situated differently.
Now, it looks more like a reflection on the window, but there is nothing there to reflect this.
In the replay, this thing is ONLY visible from the pilot’s view, not from anywhere else.
