I did not like Hell Let loose when I tried it. Seemed like a walking simulator. Easy Red II is good but it has a lot more issues that make it a non starter replacement for Enlisted. Enlisted is very arcade, very dopey mc dopamine slathered in a monetized FOMO sauce. Imagine that fat cash injection they got selling chests (screwing themselves in the long run) manifesting in such a poorly projected Update. The ray tracing stuff is great but mostly “buzzy” like the human brain acknowledges the 1000’s of signals it gets a second, it takes a handful, fills in the rest. It is that small focus circle that brain is paying attention too. The game looking pretty fades. Look at all the graphic improvements, in everyone’s mind that leap seems like nothing when its years of process. The past few updates have been kind of duds. Saboteur? Partisans? Now 3 man cars. All very underwhelming. The idea is good the effect is poor compared to myriad of other choices.
How about this as a priority. 50% of squads starts with an engineer remove that choice divide cost into the rest of the tree as a lay away pay. The AI should not be an engineering liability. It is ridiculous at how poorly the AI acts around engineering. You can expect the AI to run across the wire. When they spread out they also like standing on the wire. WIRE = BAD PRIORITY AVOID, Option B, No option B enjoy the wire.
Trust me, 3 truth bombs have yielded me 3 warnings. Ironic the shit certain people can say. I repeat it I get a warning. Seems like more than once if you mention another game you get the NK treatment. But that rule only applies to specific posts. Again irony pointing things out.
I think the update is weak sauce. It is that simple. Do not expect my praise or anyone’s elses. That is what you get when you are dismissive towards the player base. Hopefully they do not blow the Halloween event. There are still more events this year than last year. I just think its a bit of a bummer the end of the battle pass seems to be a graveyard of content for 2 weeks.
The good part, is that JOIN ANY is no longer an issue with me. It works. I understand why it has a lower win rate. It should by design.
What keeps me playing this game is the fact that it’s a WW2 shooter with a good gameplay loop. It’s squad-based and has great vehicle gameplay and physics. Easy Red feels a bit clunky and has worse graphics, but I do enjoy playing the campaigns. Hell Let Loose is indeed a walking sim. I do play it when I’m in the mood; I don’t like having to use mics to be effective whatsoever, though. I do wish that there was a game that could have all the good elements of the three aforementioned games. Enlisted maps and matches feel too small and short; Hell Let Loose too large and long. I’ve put many hours into War Thunder, and while it receives more attention than this game, the grind is simply too off-putting. Getting through WW2-era tanks and planes isn’t too bad, but anything after feels like a job. I don’t like air arcade, but I also don’t like how you can’t respawn in air realistic. No matter what it seems, no game is perfect, but I feel like there’s so much potential being squandered with this one.

They other thing players are saying is there is other games. But those games have issues also. We stay because we love this game but this game is not living its full potential and feels like its either bad manangment or poor communication. When players are upset you need to learn to listen. Stop acting like you dont understand while 50 people in thread are upset. Messed up part its your job we trying save. If devs keep on ignorimg players, ignoring bugs, ignoring game mechs than they will leave. When they leave who will you moderate? FYI i like you but last mod that said do something is no longer a mod.

I would rather the DEVS or one of them to be brutally honest with where the game is completely going and what’s gonna be the future of enlisted…also what I mean with the “brutally honest” line?..well no HR/PR team ass talk, just complete honesty seriousness.

Sure players can, the moderator just says get the conversation back on track. It is not a agree or disagree. They are the switch pullers, they may not even be paid a penny but deserve to be in for the pounding. Clearly he is antagonizing the player. the ray tracing is a good edition, it will make the game look current until the next graphics flavor comes in favor. Now with chaos light ray tracing with quantum nano foam textures scaled to 20k resolution. The tank destruction looks great but like all great things once you seen it 20 times it just blends in.
If you think I have any sway with how the game development is going then you are FAR from mistaken. I have no sway when it comes to game development. I’m surprised you think any different.
Whether you “want to keep me as a mod” is absolute moot at this point. Truly, I don’t actually care. My job isn’t about keeping you happy. It never was.
