Well there are people playing it now i’m sure many off them would like to see ranked coming
based on an assuption, i could say the same that many others not wanting competitive modes as well.
after all, even the devs said that their game ain’t made for be competitive.

And its not about the bots its about having more chances then 1 in the same round that is goin on, not that there is a reset of the game. But a longer fight with more action with more chances. Then dead reset.
We see many games are adding things to give u more chances in 1round or 1 game, for example Gulag, Resurrections in apex legends. But they are all different game style and not 1shot 1kill games. In Enlisted 1bullet is dead in the head directly with any gun. And its a Call of duty like game.
Its about having more action in a short amount of time in a round or mission

No. CSGO is not what this game is intended to be at all.

This is devs vision for that game. So no competitive mode.

I agree with pesimism about such idea here. Such mode is not even an intention what this game is supposed to be. For reasons stated above ranked mode (or ranks in general) is a horrible idea that would only transform this game into toxic swamp.

Comparing Ranked and Toxicity is like comparing a peanut with a car…
Toxicity can be anywhere.
Even if u lose games in a public game there will be Toxicity.
And of course its a different game, the point is it to be ranked how this game is made of.
Comparing a public mode to a rank mode is also being said here.
The big question is will there be a ranked mode in the future or not, because many people in our big world want it to see it happen?
There should at least be a way to show how good u actually are at the game, compared to the reset of the world
You clearly are not getting the point here. Devs never wanted Enlisted to be a game where you compare yourself with the rest of the world. You play as another soldier in a battle and your point is to complete the objective. Not be “the best in the world”.
Yes, but when competition is involved there is a much higher chance for that toxicity to be present.
Even bigger question is: why come to the game and demand something that is completely against its developers vision? There are many other competitive FPS on the market. Enlisted wasn’t meant for that. It can be seen even in Lone fighters mode, that feels just not right sometimes, like it doesn’t fit the game design (mostly in Invasion mode). And before OBT it was almost dead with many bots filling the lobbies. And yes - that was demand from part of the community.

imagine going over discords and such, saying things like " hey, do you know i’m gold in enlisted? yeah i know, i’m very good in killing bots "

Because this game has protentional, and I’m not demanding I’m asking.
if there is a possibility in the future. To see indeed something that links u to a rank, or skill which is something perfectly normal.
It sickens me that u are comparing other game company’s with mulch less protentional,
and speaking about just killing bots while its not only about bots at all.
Its like Enlisted Testers are like instantly demoting their own game and its not even released yet.
It’s more like we enjoy the game for what it is supposed to be instead of trying to make it something it was not meant to.
If you are skilled player and have big infuence on the outcome of the particular battle you are honored at the end in the score screen. For that one battle and nothing else is really needed.
Enlisted is a game where, of course, skill matters. But sometimes you just get blasted by a plane with your whole squad, bombarded by a mortar, killed by artillery, tanks, random grenades… There is much more aspects involved in defining your effectiveness in battle. How to make a ranking system from something like this? Skill of perticular player is important, but it is not everything because without teamplay in Enlisted - you just loose.
Okay, I apologize for that. I went too far.
Enlisted has a lot of potential. But just not in that matter, because the whole game is designed around not being competitive. And even if it is not all about bots - they are probably around 80% of our kills in the battles. That is why kills doesn’t matter in that game if you don’t play objective.

Well yea indeed, there is a side button saying Game Mode, anything can happen starting from there.
I believe attracting more people and make the community grow bigger is always a good thing to try. Not saying now but it would be great to see it happen, there really isn’t a good mode with some rank for people that want it with a game designed like this at the moment which is very unfortunate , because i have always been a big fan of it
What is also important to remember - competitive mode could bring more players who look for that specific aspect. But will also bring more cheaters. They are already here according to some posts, but will be even more common if ranks and competition will be on stake. Free to play game and competitive mode is a perfect environment for them.
And bad reputation ensuing that will definetely not help in gaining the playerbase.

I disagree fully.
Competitive games are more than enough available…
Enlisted should stay “Objective>Competitive” or “Points>Kills”.
Instead wasting resources for small modes we need bigger modes which cause more chaos, more war. Capturing zones, sabotage enemy supply lines are the thing and not boring nonsense 3vs3 / 5vs5 arena modes, which you can get by many other games.

Well the problem is there are always cheaters. Trough Hardware Trough Obs many tricks nowadays indeed. But that has been since the beginning of shooters already.
Even DOS games had cheat codes implemented.
But look Valorant and Faceit have a very good anticheat engine that have the capability to detect it
More like “become” in this case.
Don’t forget that Enlisted is created by a small, basicaly indie studio in Western Europe, with some help of Gaijin.
That is not the same league as companies that have years of experience in e-sport market.
