As a BT-7 main its fun to see them burn so easily.
Its not even a fight its like sport no harm to you.
PZII is better mostly.

BT-7 and T28 are very good. BT-7 is better than the T50 in some areas too. Mainly speed and turret traverse

As long as your opponents are not aiming in your general direction/are blind/have their main gun destroyed. Or as wacky transport of your troops on cap.
Absolutely inferior to any other soviet tank in the game.
But hey, few individuals actually use that thing, and even fewer like it so… good for them I guess.

You have a good rapid-fire cannon.
Most Soviet tanks have the same armor and a smaller crew.
You also have 5 people, in most cases you have a chance to move to the gunner and start shooting back.
But because of his armor and the speed of the turret rotation, if the tank did not attack you head-on, then you are a corpse in most situations.

T-60 has third-best armor (?, don’t know if the new T-28 is better there) of the Soviets in Moscow, and the majority of Germans don’t aim for the turret with their first shots. 20 mm can shred through inf and through Panzer II and B (while it struggles against E. honk honk). The sole downside aside the limited effectiveness against tanks better than the B is its limited crew. Ask Conscript Joe about it, as he used to main the tank in Russia iirc.
Same for Panzer II. 20 mm wrecks all Soviet tanks through the front except the T-50, is very good against inf (37 mm HE sucks hard compared to a 20mm auto-gun with magazines and low reload time) and has good reload time. CQC beast, especially in villages. Wouldnt wage distance fights though.
If you manage to suck against inf with a mg, a 20 mm auto-cannon and a front armor which can’t be penned easily by AT rifles…
The AB? AB is a sponge. The AB consumes British shells. It has a gigantic hit box and the vast majority if not all Allied shells in Africa are AP shells which have awful post-pen dmg while its 20 mm shells are far better against the smaller tank models of the Allies (plus it has no useless HE rounds like the auto-cannons in Moscow). AB is maybe the best beginner tank aside the Puma. Sole enemies are det charges and the Grant, if the 75mm cannon isnt bugged again.
PZ 3B can easy destroy T-60,how and all next.
PZ 2 need flank T-60.
Honestly I’m of the same opinion
I thought the PzIIIB was gonna be trash considering how I dunked on them with my T-60
But when I unlocked it I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was quite fun to use
