What are the other dedicated dates or time for console players with anniversaries?
I don’t understand what you’re asking. Consoles will not get this sale at all. There will be another big sale that is within the game soon that everyone can partake. It’ll be next month sometime. Then there is usually another big one through the game for all around christmas/new year. These ones will contain gold squads, sometimes squad slots, and premium time discounts. It’s always worth buying a year of premium when it goes on 50% sale. Only 20 USD for the year and the perks are well worth it.
Consoles rarely get sales for the premmy squads that cost money (game add ons, not gold squads), there’s only been 1 major console sale this past year, and before that I’d only ever seen one or two individual squads go on sale over the past few years. I think they are trying harder to do console sales now since so many people bitch about it. It’s super jacked up, i know.

It’s misleading and unfortunately disappointing to log into the game, see an update on my XBOX that there is a sale on squads; only to find that the very platform I’m getting the advertisement on is not offering the promised sales.
Love the game, don’t complain about it ever. Never posted any complaint. This one is

You understood it perfectly. And you’d explained everything perfectly very informative thank u. But i was replying to the community manager about his response when he said dedicated dates or later times for consoles. That’s what I was saying.
I was just confused on the way you worded it. Either way, glad to of answered your question. Just so you know, they won’t really know when a console sale will happen until it happens. One of those things you just have to keep an eye out for, and the last time it did happen the play station store got sales without xbox. Xbox did eventually get one but was quite a bit later on. Point being it’s super random for us lowly folk.
Then honestly I should not be getting an update on my game when I open it on my xbox saying there is a huge sale when there is none. That in-and-of itself is misleading, regardless of intent.
If the sale is not available on XBOX, XBOX players should never see it. It literally IS false advertising.
It’s also illogical advertising. Why would an XBOX player EVER care or want or need to know about a STEAM or Gaijin store sale? There isn’t even a logical reason to show this advert to us. It’s ONLY confusing and infuriating.
I’ve played for years. Love this game. Do not agree with people who complain on almost every topic. Most complaints I think are silly and dial back to skills issues.
I feel I gotta voice myself on this one. I have background in marketing. The advertisement is misleading and irrelevant to all XBOX players who see it. Full stop.
I also understand you pump out an update that multi casts out to different platforms but all the same “thing”. If it’s a functional limitation, you need to find another way to communicate segregated sales other than showing all the people who you’re segregating what they can’t have.
Kind of seems like you’re just now finding this out lol. It’s been like this since ever. It’s wack. I was super pissed about it too when i first started playing and wanted to buy stuff. Hell, i didn’t even know sales were a thing till after I bought some stuff at full price lol. I think most of us have just accepted it though.

Fair lol. Been a periodic game since it came out. Would play off and on for years. Really actually diving into it an understanding the game has been the past 200 days. So played consistently for years but never spent money on the game until the past year or so.
So I feel I come into it with fresh eyes, though having an old account. There are very very common themes of complaints people make about the game and Gaijin that I find silly. Anything about progression, or how events take too long, or how this event or that event sucks; hogwash. It’s a free game. I maxed out my main line before I ever paid for anything.
I don’t think the way Gaijin does the premium stuff, sells squads, does loot boxes (especially veteran boxes); is in any way bad. I love it. It’s fair and great. I pull TONS from the silver boxes because I can buy at least 1-2 per match. I got like 6 squads last run around and around 6 in the previous run in the spring.
People like to complain about stuff on YouTube (not really talking as much on here as I only started lurking here recently), I love that this forum exists for such a unique game. Developers communicating with players. It’s dope.
So to sum up; I take a very contrarian position. I don’t think Gaijin does anything odd or off colour in how they generate revenue to keep providing us servers to play this free game. If it wasn’t a good game we wouldn’t play it. People’s frustrations seem to boil down to skill issues or insecurities about their skill issues.
The reason I make this long winded rant is because of the thousands of whining complaints and comments on YouTube videos and Reddit about the game and about Gaijin - I make the point that this is the first time I ever felt swindled or tricked by Gaijin and I didn’t even spend anything on it. Just got an advert that was a lie. Which, I can chaulk up to a communications process that needs improvement. So I disagree hard when people say “Gaijin just being Gaijin”. Nah man.
They should have kept the capture browning in store tbh idk why they remove it

I’m looking forward to the Halloween event. Adding zombies or new types of creatures would be really interesting! We could have another epic World War I event; I’ve got some new squads, and I need more trench clubs!
