Except you are not using your own resources to host “your” game. You are using Gaijin resources (host, bandwidth) that are maybe payed also by those you do not want to admit.

This custom lobbies thing has been implemented the wrong way. It’s reasonable that you want a private room for training/practicing with your friends or clan. But these should be privately hosted (by downloading some server-specific software) and give no XP.

I’m with you, my lobby, my rules. If that means I want to play alone, that should be my choice. If I want to play with friends and no ransoms, my choice. If I want to kick the asshole in a tank, in a lobby where I’m trying to play infantry only, my choice.
