Preparation for the "Scorching Rays" update

Well, the update notes are out now. It seems Df is actually considering player feedback by adding these hull machine guns. But I kind of feel like it’s more like “everyone eats shit together” now, because this means that when a crew member dies, the radio operator won’t automatically take over as commander, and no one will step in to handle loader duties either.
All of us will have to confront the problems that were previously only encountered by Japanese tanks.

I have a question @Euthymia07-live Or @MajorMcDonalds

does this mean the AI will control (as in fire independently like APCS)…or just occupy the seat? I may have missed the answer somewhere already

hmmm…more could do with some more work…at the very least if everyone is eating shit, its equal

Now considering it, I think the Soviet heavy-caliber shell-toting tanks seem unsuitable for enlistment. So far, the damage has been mainly caused by shrapnel. The loading speed of the 122mm gun is simply too slow. The actual performance is probably not very satisfactory although there is a lot of shrapnel, but it is easily swallowed by the environment. Refer to the IS-2. Additionally, I found that the IS-3 is not invincible either. Its top armor of the tank and the driver’s hatch are somewhat thin, and it basically relies on the equivalent stacking thickness. If a 128mm shell is fired with HE to the top cover, it can easily cause overpressure and blow off the cover. Here’s another one. Like the T-44-100, which can penetrate the face of a vehicle but not the cockpit cover, and the 122mm is no longer suitable for enlistment now.

Wow, so innovative! It’s only in 2025 that we have reached this level of development as seen in Japanese tanks. Then what? Well, then could I ask if our tanks will also receive the same treatment as Japanese tanks? When the members inside the turret die, won’t they? Will they go into the turret to serve as the commander and loader to help us share the pressure during the tank combat period? Then for us, this is completely a debuff. I hope we can figure out the priority levels of the loader and the gunner of the hull gun. So that when there are only three people left in the tank, the communications officer won’t help load the shells like before, but will stay at the hull gun and not move.

When a shotgun is equipped with a bayonet, this has been mentioned by someone on an old forum. On the one hand, it has a distinctly Japanese characteristic. After all, even machine guns can be equipped with bayonets. On the other hand, it also shows that DF has a preference for their major shareholder. However, even with the bayonet installed, it cannot hide the fact that this is just a toy that no one would use in actual combat.

I don’t think anybody would miss you… since you find it necessary to announce your departure as an ultimatum.

Now looking at it, it seems more like a blatant attack on paying players. At the beginning, M1921AC Prohibition Thompson’s damage was a little higher. Later, it was fixed. Later on, it was because there was no such gun in the game. Also, the rate of fire and the aiming device were better than those in the tech tree. I asked the people around who bought the game, and they all felt like they were being attacked by DF as if they were being bullied by a clown.

An English tank. But will it actually be useful? Or will it be abandoned like KV (that thing)? Both have a level of 4.7 in WT. However, Germany doesn’t have many of level 4.7. Zis has already gone to BrⅣ. I’m worried that this tank will follow suit. But in fact, Tank No. 4 clearly has good shells that can penetrate both of them. All that’s needed is to give Tank No. 4 the shells or have 105 mm Dicker Max 8,8 cm Flak 37 Sfl.- Jagdpanzer IV, lowered to BrⅢ. This would allow these two vehicles to confront BrⅢ or even lower the Japanese Chi-To (Late) to level 3 to engage in combat.
Well, to be honest. 4.7 was really a bad weight. Germany didn’t have many that met the 4.7 standard, so they had to include 5.7 instead, which caused the other tanks to lose their value.

There’s no way. The chi-nu is an excellent tank and fights shermans quite well. The ho-i also does really well in br2, i don’t believe it’s better than chi-nu though. Chi-nu has a way longer barrel for better pen.

From experience, the Ho-I is actually better in terms of tank vs tank since its default Anti-tank round is HEAT. Chi-Nu is nice to have but the longer barrel is moot considering a Sherman often bounces its shells.

Something might have changed since the last time I played the Ho-I, but from what I recall it was always a blessing having HEAT against a Sherman.

It is going to work just like any other hull MGs up until now. They’re just making this feature to work on more tanks.

ah damn…First read through I thought They would be independant “if” not controlled directly or by commander.

First number is velocity, then pen at angles.
Type 2 HEAT 350 90 / 78 / 45
Type 1 APHE 668 103 / 83 / 41

The aphe of chi-nu is better than ho-i’s heat. Chi-nu aphe is also better than ho-i’s aphe. He is the same

I dont think alot of people realise that HEAT isnt a good round generally. Not in Warthunder/enlisted anyway. Its what you turn to in absense of adequate APHE. (small bonus of multipurpose ammo but worse damage than both)

Well yes this one also needs to be added since it will have good reload speed.

finally, the long awaited hull mgs are coming. and un perfect form I believe
now the only thing missing will be to tell the loader to use a medkit without getting out of the tank

i don’t like the cave village. it’s coatse, rough and irritating

I’d love to get my hands on previous battlepass vehicles.
lootboxws are the worst

I like the possibility to make a mistake
notorious deseeters should be punished severely
those suffering from connection issues or having a real cause of quitting are forgivable in my opinion
