Preparation for the "Scorching Rays" update

Well they can give HEAT shells to my boy 75/32 M41

This looks like it’ll be a good update! Also, the reworked Tunesia map looks nice as well.

If the commander cannot direct and fire the hull MG from his postion, but instead, this update was simply transfered the MG mechanism on Japanese tanks, which just added a controllable MGer slot, then it won’t be a “increase the combat effectiveness” but a degrade in contrast, as AI will no longer replace killed turret crew and thus decrease main gun effectiveness.

A separated controllable MGer slot is meaningless in combat effectiveness as its field of fire and POV is largely different from the Gunner. When the player adapt to the MGer’s field of view and re-aim, even some grandmothers has already escaped.

(And there is a problem with the full crew on Japanese tanks changing their seats for no reason after the start of combat. I suppose this is because of the MGer slot.)

Since the game is adding ray tracing, I would like to see support for FSR 4 added. It would help a lot with framerate for AMD cards.

or forget br4 and add one of these to br3

i love the gun carrier in world of tanks

I don’t understand: This is an Attacker aircraft and only has two 50 kg bombs?

The cannons’ armor penetration are lower than 30mm BTW.

The Japanese conducted test flights with four prototypes during late 1944 and early 1945, however, the bombing campaigns hampered the program. … However, continued struggles with logistics and supplies severely hampered the Japanese war effort and the Ki-83 program as a whole. Three prototypes were reportedly destroyed and the last one was seized by America.

Can we have some really battle tested weapons?

Well I hope its BR III and its without the 250 kg bomb… I hope they dont put it in BR IV since without 250 KG bomb it cant be BR IV.

there is still a chance it will be BR3 since current devs have zero idea how to balance the game.
I suggested Churchill Crocodile for very good reason: same as Churchill VII, but with a flamethrower which makes it a direct upgrade over the Jumbo which is BR4.

But devs in their infinite wisdom…

Idk
All the recent additions made fighters the better bomber so I guess now they want to make bombers the better fighters since the fighter slot is already busy doing CAS instead of fighting, I guess?

Nothing about that makes sence really… but thats what DF decided to do…

Churchill NA75 even would have been better since would be easy to be put in BR III.

Well the problem is majority of good ground attackers are not in War under and since Japanese BR III fighter has good bombs maybe this one will compensate exactly as you say it will be like the lighting for US that is better fighter then ground attacker but maybe they give it High-explosive fragmentation incendiary shell so I dont know. But even with this changes it will be BR III unless it has 250 kg bomb.

Wah wah wah. Be happy you don’t have to spend 10$ a pop to get the ICONIC gangster tommy with drum mag and foregrip.

JP tank yes it needs to be at BR3 there are no other choice. Churchill VII hell no. They should’ve picked Churchill VI (with 75mm gun) instead as it had similar armor to Churchill III we have as premium but nope they had to straight up lazily port one from WT. They also could port Churchill 75NA as it also had 75mm cannon and weak armor.

The Ki-83 is a really bad decision here. If from what can be seen from the preview - it has 2x 50kg bombs and maybe a single 250kg (a-historical but not really the point).

The better choice here would have been the B7A Ryūsei - because at least that has room for an 800kg bomb (or 3x 250kg bombs) and forward mounted 20mm cannons.

If it needs to be a twin-engine: the Ki-102 was right there as an option (specifically the Ki-102 Otsu with 2x 20mm cannons, 1x 12.7mm machine gun, and 2x 250kg bombs). There’s also the Ki-45 used by the IJAAF in New Guinea with 1x 37mm, 2x 20mm, and 2x 250kg bombs.

Genuinely I am confused at the decision to choose the Ki-83. It sounds like it was chosen to match the P-38? Which doesn’t make much sense since the Ki-102 is a better choice for that.

Well as always we get some strange vehicles Ki-83 wont be bad for BR III with small bombs but will be much more of a interceptor that Japan needs it wont be bad but will act more like a fighter plane then a ground attacker but at least will fix a bit the issue for Japan stacking the fighter slot all the time since Ki-83 is not a bad fighter.

that still has like 90mm armour which is not weak at all, Sherman M4A2 and M4A3 (105) are already overpowered against BR2 tanks as it is.

I hope the development of ray tracing didn’t disrupt the regular content update.

yeah but Sherman has good speed this thing is moving with the speed of Enlisted developer

speed is not a big concern in Enlisted and Churchill´s climbrate is still excellent regardless of that which actually does matter here.

Maybe one day they gonna expand the gerygones for tanks like guerilla squads and finally some fast tanks will shine.

its already too big
either make it impossible to see in and out of the gray zone
or impossible to shoot inside and outside
its supposed to be spawn protection not a forcefield.
