Well since planes can 3d spot planes behind walls and trees at 2000 meters distance by just spamming the spot button - I doubt that they will be better on their own.
Germany’s situation is different though - their opponent is the US, and the US Air Force has air superiority at all levels from 2-5, plus they have super-strong payload capabilities
I dont think that those AA vehicles will be that much worse than the standart engie AA gun.
If the enemy is skilled with the AA there is little point in playing in a plane unless you got rockets enough to spam from 1-2 km away. So if the AA now also takes up an vehicle slot there is a serious drawback to it now.
EDIT: The AA gun was unspotable to planes but a tank isnt. So this time there even is counterplay to the AA.
Maybe we should allow spawning an extra dedicated AA vehicle on the map that doesn’t take up regular tank slots.
It could have its own separate AA icon without conflicting with tanks, and only one such vehicle can appear per match.
Your concern makes total sense. If two players both bring anti-air vehicles, our team will get easily crushed by enemy tanks.
Fun fact, if a AA is statinary you mobility is equal = 0.

Skilled ? you literally can see where the plane is going there is no skill in H&G there was skill using AA guns here you have marker showing you where the plane is going xD

Yes but it would only have an effect in the first moments, 5-10 minutes and it’s destroyed
On the one hand - if you have them take a tank slot, people will use them and stay in the backline waiting for planes effectively making your team lose a tank.
On the other hand if you create a special slot for just for one AA tank per team, you risk having even less active players on the field.

Fair, but at least, it could have been 2nd Canadian Armoured Brigade with temporal British soldiers (with English accent) for that matter and do the rest later at some point. The unit insigna and some simple unit description shouldnt take that much time or effort.
The 2nd Canadian Armoured Brigade used the Shank in combat after all.
Are there any plans for new tech tree SPAA vehicles? If Kugel is becoming premium, Germany should at least get the Coelian in the tech tree. Allies could get the Skink without the special skin, and Russia could get the ZSU truck. Locking iconic SPAA vehicles behind paywalls just hurts progression and makes the game less enjoyable for regular players.
A Canadian squad could 100% get away with using regular British\Commonwealth comsetics.
The greater question is why the squad itself (emblem and name) isn’t going to be Canadian…? Or will it?

Infantry renders at 500 meters - tank render at much longer distance. Also projectiles only seem to fly 1000 meters distance, with exceptions like rockets.
