Right. Japan has way too few anti-air vehicles, and most of them will probably cap out around BR2.
As for this AA truck, what if we suggest raising its base mount? Move it down to BR1 and give it forward-firing capabilities too. Its wheels also struggle badly with mobility across most maps.
There’s probably quite a few people who already have the first event AA stuff, the GAZ-AAA and Flakpanzer I… and they never get fielded because they are hot garbage. I would hope the Devs would be giving us some that aren’t.
There’s also already a huge difference between Top TV and TIV… compare an FG42II to a Gewehr 43 for instance. Then compare that difference to a Gewehr 41/VG 1-5. There’s a MUCH bigger leap from IV to V.
potentially true RE the AA vehicles, but I don’t think it would be less useful than something like someone in a TII/III match deciding to rock up in a Panzer II or a Seagull… which happens a lot!
I’d be happy if Japan got any new SPAA at all for its tech tree, since Japan already has the Ta-Se, whose commander and loader probably have the lowest life expectancy in Enlisted.
Either way, given the limited selection of japanese SPAAs, Japan will end up with one that’s as useful as the german and soviet ones from the Victory Day event a few years ago.
Yes, especially since recently, for some reason, even with BR2-3 you can end up in BR3-4-5. I don’t understand the logic behind this, but I’ve encountered this problem before where BR3 directly led to BR5, or from time to time you’d see Super Pershings while you were driving around the map in your Panzer 4 or Panzerfaust 60 in BR2-3.
We need some kind of daily ticket to get the full XP gained in the custom matches
I hope in some moment they decide to put TE-4 MG in tanks tops as in the Rider vehicle , i. Didn’t find anything about it but since was a AA MG too, is not imposible
I guess the gunner on the So-Ki would probably have an even lower life expectancy than the commander and loader on the Ta-Se, who are practically guaranteed to get sniped.
I assume that Japan is one of the factions least likely to receive non-historical or semi-historical buffs, unless these are essential for the balance of the game.
I don’t know if I’m overlooking something, but if the Ostwind would get its weaker belts, it would be absolute garbage compared to the Kugelblitz, without even looking at anything except the armament. I doubt that the tech tree vehicle would get better armament if they are both introduced in the same update.
Dude why are you so obsessed with HE filler that you’re willing to deny this game content? Even though there’s way more ridiculous vehicles in this game that can sling HE. Make it make sense.
Nice, been waiting for more than 5 years for an AA to appear, also can we address this
The moment me “the player” wants the plant the bomb it has points in it but when i command and NPC theres nothing, like it does progress but no exp or points on my part
This vehicle bears a striking resemblance to the Soviet anti-aircraft vehicle released for Victory Day. It will likely end up equally underwhelming. Since Japan already has a fully rotational tracked AA unit, this new one will serve little practical purpose.
What else can we say? Given Anton’s well-known stinginess, it’s pretty clear they’re short on players and just drafting everyone in to fill the gaps. This sort of thing happens all the time in War Thunder. They refuse to use AI to fill lobbies, yet they don’t want players earning points easily by fighting AI either — it’s just this constant contradiction.
( the AS car is also in enlisted. but couldn’t be bothered to get a pic )
and last but not least:
it’s still cool to get niche vehicles for premium, and not in the TT.
dont get me wrong, it’s not about " muh immersion " or historical accuracy.
but i apreciate the fact that premiums are protos or rare vehicles.
and avoid situations like the stug 3G, the Chi-ha tank or m8 greyhound.
